00:00We got to a ceasefire in the early hours of today in relation to the conflict in Iran.
00:05That is a good thing.
00:07And we need to make sure that ceasefire is maintained.
00:10And on that platform, then we need negotiations to ensure that Iran does not get a nuclear weapon capability.
00:20And so the focus for all of us, whether it's here or elsewhere, has always been on de-escalate
00:26and allow that negotiated outcome to take place.
00:30Here at NATO, we obviously have the opportunity to show the significance and importance of NATO,
00:36probably as important and as strong today as it's ever been.
00:40And therefore, it's very important we're coming together for this summit.
00:44I think the events of the last few days just show what a volatile world we're living in.
00:48And it is a good thing that in those circumstances, allies are coming together for this summit
00:53to look at the capability of NATO and to ensure that it's fit for the future.
