00:00Hi guys, so this is a story time of how I found a phone inside my hot pot in Adelaide.

00:05I won't name the business because they're a very well-established business

00:07and I don't want to bring their name down over a single mistake, you know, everyone makes mistakes.

00:12So anywho, what happened was last week I ordered dry hot pot takeaway

00:16and I only live like 10 minutes from the place so I didn't need to heat it up when I got home

00:20and I ate half of it and I was going to save the rest for lunch tomorrow

00:23but I was still picking out my food so I was just picking at the bottom

00:26and the container was feeling a little bit weird

00:29and I've been to that place like so many times, I don't know what the packaging feels like

00:33so I was like, okay, this is a bit weird, so I kept digging

00:36and at the bottom of the container was a working phone.

00:40I pressed on the screen and it just said the screen was heated up, like it was still working.

00:45I rang the place, I was like, hey, I found a phone in my hot pot

00:48and they were like, oh yeah, we did have a phone missing for one of our chefs

00:52and they were apologizing, so I was like, okay, no worries, I'll bring it back.

00:56What had happened was apparently the chef put the phone down in the TV container

01:00and because it was black and it had like a black outline on the cover as well

01:05so it just blended in with the container and someone else grabbed the container

01:08and put the hot pot on top and, you know, they found out after I had the hot pot.

01:14So, yeah, I paid $35 for the hot pot originally and they gave me like $50 back

01:21and the chef was also like, oh, let me know when you're here next time,

01:24I'll give you free hot pot.

01:26So, yeah, that's that.
