00:00Ladies and gentlemen, have you ever felt the wind brush across your face?
00:07You cannot see it.
00:10You cannot hold it, but you know it's real.
00:14You see its effects, the rustling leaves, the swaying trees,
00:19the waves it pushes across the sea.
00:23When the Holy Spirit takes over your life,
00:26the first and most profound change happens not on the outside, but deep within.
00:34The transformation of the heart.
00:37This transformation is not a surface level improvement or a simple shift in habits.
00:45It is a complete renovation of the inner person,
00:50a supernatural work that only God's Spirit can accomplish.
00:54The human heart, left to itself, is prone to sin, pride, selfishness, and rebellion.
01:03Scripture tells us in Jeremiah 17, yo 9,
01:07the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wickeding who can know it.
01:13But when the Holy Spirit enters in, he begins to do what no man, no program, and no personal effort ever could.
01:25He softens the heart, convicts it of sin, and rhetorics it toward God.
01:31Suddenly, things that once brought pleasure now bring conviction.
01:36Things that were once ignored, like truth, purity, and obedience.
01:45Now become the highest pursuit.
01:48This transformation doesn't always happen overnight, but it is unmistakable.
01:55The Spirit begins by revealing the true condition of the heart.
02:00He shines a light into the dark corners, not to condemn, but to cleanse.
02:07He shows us what we truly are without God.
02:11And then he points us to Christ.
02:14The heart that once cold becomes warm.
02:18The heart that was once proud is humbled.
02:22The heart that once in different things of God is now aflame with holy desire.
02:30This is not about becoming religious.
02:34It's about becoming alive.
02:37The person who once had no interest in prayer
02:39now longs to commune with God.
02:44The one who couldn't sit still.
02:47For a sermon now hangs on every word of Scripture.
02:52The Holy Spirit creates a hunger and thirst for righteousness.
02:58A deep longing to please the Lord and walk in His ways.
03:03Old appetites begin to lose their grip.
03:06And new affections take root.
03:10Affection for God, for His people, and for His presence.
03:14And here's the beautiful part.
03:17The Holy Spirit doesn't just demand change.
03:22He supplies the power to change.
03:25He gives the believer a new nature, a new mindset, and a new purpose.
03:32Where there was once chaos, there is now peace.
03:36Where there was fear, there is now courage.
03:40Where there was guilt, there is now grace.
03:44And it all begins with a transformed heart.
03:48Some may ask, how do I know if the Holy Spirit has taken over my life?
03:54The answer is simple.
03:57Look at your desires.
03:59Are they changing?
04:02Do you find yourself loving what God loves and hating what He hates?
04:08Do you sense a pull toward prayer, toward worship, toward obedience?
04:13That is not your doing.
04:16That is the work of the Spirit.
04:20And the more you yield to Him, the deeper the transformation becomes.
04:26This is the miracle of grace.
04:28The Holy Spirit does not make you a better version of yourself.
04:33He makes you new.
04:35A new heart.
04:37A new spirit.
04:39A new life.
04:41When the Holy Spirit takes over your life,
04:44one of the most striking undeniable changes
04:47is a boldness that rises within you.
04:53A boldness not born of personality or confidence,
04:56but born of divine fire.
05:00It is the boldness to speak, to stand,
05:03to declare the truth of God,
05:06even in the face of fear, rejection, or danger.
05:10This boldness in witnessing is not about being loud or argumentative.
05:16It is about being compelled, being moved,
05:20being filled with a holy urgency
05:22to share the message of Jesus Christ
05:26with a world that is lost and dying.
05:30We see this boldness first in the lives of the disciples.
05:35Before Pentecost, they were hiding,
05:38afraid, confused, unsure of what would come next.
05:43But when the Holy Spirit came upon them in that upper room,
05:49everything changed.
05:51Peter, who had once denied even knowing Jesus,
05:55stood before thousands
05:57and proclaimed the gospel with clarity and power.
06:02What happened?
06:03The Spirit had taken over.
06:05The fear that once gripped his heart
06:09was replaced with a fire
06:11that could not be silenced.
06:14That same fire burns in the hearts of spirit
06:17filled believers today.
06:21You may have once been timid,
06:24unsure of how to speak about your faith.
06:28You may have hesitated,
06:31worried about what people might think,
06:33afraid of offending someone
06:35or not knowing what to say.
06:38But when the Holy Spirit fills you,
06:42something shifts.
06:44The fear gives way to faith.
06:46The silence gives way to speech.
06:49Suddenly, your concern is no longer about reputation.
06:53It's about souls.
06:57You begin to see people not as strangers,
07:00but as eternal beings in need of salvation.
07:05The Holy Spirit not only gives you boldness,
07:08but he also gives you the words.
07:11Jesus said in Luke 12, Jew 12,
07:14for the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour
07:18what why ought to say.
07:22This is not about rehearsed speeches.
07:26It's about being led moment by moment,
07:29word by word.
07:32The Spirit knows what every heart needs to hear,
07:35and he will guide your lips accordingly.
07:39Boldness in witnessing also means
07:42standing firm when the truth is unpopular.
07:45In a world where sin is often celebrated
07:49and truth often silenced,
07:52the Spirit gives believers the courage to speak up.
07:57Not with condemnation,
08:00but with compassion and conviction.
08:03You begin to realize that silence can be deadly
08:06when eternity is at stake.
08:10So you speak, not to win arguments,
08:13but to win souls.
08:15This boldness doesn't mean
08:18every conversation will be easy.
08:21It doesn't mean everyone will respond with acceptance.
08:26But it means you will no longer be held hostage by fear.
08:31You will know that you are a vessel of the living God
08:35and that your words,
08:38anointed by the Spirit,
08:40carry weight beyond what you can imagine.
08:44And as you speak,
08:46lives begin to change.
08:48Not because of your eloquence,
08:51but because of your obedience.
08:55Not because of your strength,
08:57but because of the Spirit's power working through you.
09:02That is the boldness that comes
09:04when the Holy Spirit takes over.
09:09When the Holy Spirit takes over your life,
09:12you begin to walk with a wisdom
09:14that is not your own.
09:16You are no longer guided simply by logic,
09:21instinct,
09:22or emotion,
09:23but by the quiet,
09:25clear voice of God's Spirit.
09:28This is what we call
09:29spiritual discernment and guidance.
09:33A supernatural ability
09:34to know what is right,
09:38to recognize what is false,
09:40and to sense the direction
09:43God wants you to go.
09:44It's one of the most vital
09:46and beautiful aspects
09:48of living a Spirit-filled life.
09:52Without the Spirit's guidance,
09:55many people wander through life
09:57making decisions
10:00based on what seems best in the moment.
10:04They chase opportunities
10:05that look good on the surface,
10:08but lead to disappointment.
10:10They trust voices
10:12that sound persuasive,
10:14but are rooted in deception.
10:17They follow paths
10:19that appear smooth,
10:20but end in destruction.
10:23The Holy Spirit, however,
10:25sees what we cannot see.
10:28He knows what is hidden.
10:30He knows the future.
10:33He searches the deep things of God,
10:35and He reveals truth
10:37to those who are willing to listen.
10:41Spiritual discernment
10:42begins with sensitivity.
10:46The more you yield to the Spirit,
10:49the more your spiritual senses
10:51are sharpened.
10:53You start to recognize
10:55when something is off,
10:58even if it looks right on paper,
11:00you can feel the check in your spirit
11:03when a door is not from God.
11:06And you can sense peace
11:08when you're walking in His will.
11:11It's not about superstition
11:13or guesswork.
11:16It's about walking closely enough
11:19with the Spirit
11:21that you can hear His whisper
11:23even in the noise of the world.
11:27The Spirit also brings clarity
11:29in confusion.
11:30When decisions are difficult
11:33and options are unclear,
11:36He brings calm to the chaos.
11:39He speaks through the Word,
11:41through prayer,
11:43through circumstances,
11:45and sometimes through the counsel
11:47of godly people.
11:49But always,
11:51He confirms His truth
11:53in your heart with peace.
11:55That peace becomes your compass.
11:57When the world pressures you to rush,
12:02the Spirit teaches you to wait
12:04when fear tells you to quit.
12:08The Spirit tells you to stand.
12:10He guides you step by step.
12:13Not always revealing the whole map,
12:17but always providing the next turn.
12:19Discernment also means
12:21knowing the difference
12:22between truth and error,
12:25good and evil,
12:27light,
12:28light,
12:28and darkness.
12:30In a time
12:31when false teaching abounds
12:33and moral confusion reigns,
12:36the Holy Spirit guards your heart
12:39from deception.
12:41He will not allow His children
12:43to be led astray
12:45without sounding the alarm.
12:48You will begin to test
12:49every word,
12:51every teaching,
12:52every influence
12:54against the standard
12:56of God's word
12:57and the witness
12:59of the Spirit
13:00within you.
13:01As the Spirit
13:02takes over more of your life,
13:05your decisions
13:06become more aligned
13:07with heaven.
13:09You begin to pray,
13:11not just for open doors,
13:13but for the right doors.
13:15You learn to say,
13:16not my will,
13:19but yours be done
13:20and you actually mean it.
13:24Your life becomes
13:25less about control
13:27and more about surrender
13:29because you trust
13:31the one who leads you.
13:33And in that trust,
13:35you find both direction
13:37and security
13:38because the Holy Spirit
13:41never misguides
13:42those who follow His lead.
13:44When the Holy Spirit
13:47takes over your life,
13:49the most visible sign
13:50to the world
13:51is not in miracles,
13:53preaching,
13:54or charisma.
13:56It is love.
13:58It is a life
13:59marked by the fruit
14:00of the Spirit.
14:02A life that begins
14:04to reflect
14:05the very character
14:07of Christ.
14:08This fruit
14:08is not something
14:10you produce
14:10on your own
14:11by trying harder
14:13or being nicer.
14:15It is something
14:16the Spirit grows in you
14:18as you abide in Him,
14:21just as a tree
14:22cannot bear fruit
14:24unless it is rooted
14:25and nourished.
14:28So a believer
14:29cannot manifest
14:30true love,
14:31joy,
14:32peace,
14:33and the other fruits
14:35apart from the indwelling
14:37power of the Holy Spirit.
14:39Galatians 5.0.22,
14:4123 outlines
14:42the fruit of the Spiriting
14:44love,
14:44joy,
14:45peace,
14:45patience,
14:46kindness,
14:47goodness,
14:48faithfulness,
14:50gentleness,
14:51and self-control.
14:53These are not just
14:54noble ideals.
14:57They are the supernatural
14:58evidence of a life
15:00surrendered to the Spirit.
15:03Love becomes more
15:04than emotion,
15:05it becomes action.
15:07Joy becomes more
15:09than happiness,
15:10happiness,
15:11it becomes strength.
15:12Peace becomes more
15:14than silence.
15:16It becomes stability
15:17in the storm.
15:19These qualities
15:20are not occasional feelings.
15:23They become consistent
15:25traits
15:26that define the person
15:28whose life
15:29is fully under
15:31the Spirit's influence.
15:33Love is the crown
15:34of all the fruit
15:36because it is the nature
15:38of God Himself.
15:40When the Holy Spirit
15:42fills your heart,
15:44love begins to flow.
15:47Not just toward the people
15:49who are easy to love,
15:51but even toward those
15:53who have wronged you.
15:54The Spirit softens
15:56your heart
15:57toward enemies,
15:59gives you compassion
16:00for the lost,
16:02and fills you
16:02with a desire
16:03to serve others
16:05selflessly.
16:07This love
16:08is not rooted
16:09in emotion,
16:10but in choice.
16:12And it reflects
16:12the love of Christ
16:14who gave Himself
16:16for us
16:17even when we
16:19were undeserving.
16:20J2
16:21becomes a mark
16:23of your life.
16:25Not because
16:26everything is going
16:27well,
16:28but because the Spirit
16:30is your source.
16:31You begin to rejoice
16:32not in circumstances,
16:34but in Christ.
16:37Peace follows
16:38closely behind,
16:39anchoring your heart
16:41when the world
16:41around you
16:42is in chaos.
16:45Patience grows
16:46as you learn
16:48to trust God's timing.
16:50Kindness and goodness
16:52become natural responses,
16:54not forced behaviors.
16:58Faithfulness shows up
16:59in your commitments,
17:00your relationships,
17:02and your walk with God.
17:04gentleness replaces
17:06harshness.
17:08And self-control
17:09becomes the power
17:10to say no to the flesh
17:12and yes to the Spirit.
17:15This fruit is not about
17:17perfection,
17:18but progression.
17:20As the Spirit works
17:21in you,
17:22He chips away
17:23at the old nature
17:25and brings forth
17:27the beauty
17:28of a new creation.
17:30People begin to notice.
17:31not because you're
17:34trying to impress them,
17:36but because the Spirit
17:38is impressing
17:39Christ's image
17:41upon you.
17:42You start to look
17:44different,
17:45sound different,
17:46respond differently.
17:49The world may not
17:50always understand it,
17:52but they cannot deny
17:54the change.
17:56The fruit of the Spirit
17:57is the living proof
17:59that God is in you.
18:01It's not loud,
18:03but it's powerful.
18:05It's not always seen
18:06on a stage,
18:08but it's always visible
18:10in daily life.
18:12And it grows
18:13not from striving,
18:15but from abiding
18:17in the One
18:18who lives within you
18:19by His Spirit.
18:20When the Holy Spirit
18:23takes over your life,
18:25one of the most
18:26liberating realities
18:27you experience
18:28is the power
18:30to overcome sin
18:32and resist temptation.
18:34This does not mean
18:36you become sinless,
18:38but it does mean
18:39you are no longer
18:40a slave to sin.
18:43The chains are broken.
18:45The cycle is interrupted.
18:47The very desires
18:48that once ruled you
18:50begin to lose
18:52their grip
18:53because a greater power
18:55now resides within you.
18:58That power
18:59is not your own.
19:01It is the power
19:02of the Holy Spirit,
19:04the same Spirit
19:05who raised Jesus
19:06from the dead.
19:08Before the Spirit
19:09takes control,
19:11sin feels natural.
19:13It feels easy.
19:15You may even justify it
19:17or ignore it.
19:19Temptation is strong
19:20because the flesh
19:22is weak
19:22and without divine help.
19:25Even your best
19:26intentions fail.
19:29But when the Spirit
19:30enters your life,
19:32He changes
19:33the battlefield.
19:34He doesn't just
19:35fight sin for you.
19:37He fights it
19:38through you.
19:40He gives you
19:41a new heart,
19:42new desires,
19:44and a new strength
19:45to say,
19:46know when everything
19:47in you wants
19:47to say yes.
19:49Romans,
19:50A.G. 13 says,
19:51if you live
19:53according to the flesh,
19:55you will die,
19:57but if by the Spirit
19:59you put to death
20:01the deeds
20:01of the body,
20:03you will live.
20:05Notice the phrase,
20:07who by the Spirit.
20:09This is not about
20:10willpower.
20:11It's about surrender.
20:13You overcome sin
20:14not by trying harder
20:16but by yielding deeper.
20:19The Spirit exposes
20:21the lie behind
20:22every temptation
20:24and gives you
20:25clarity in moments
20:27when your flesh
20:29wants to take over.
20:30He brings conviction
20:32not condemnation.
20:34He reminds you
20:36who you are
20:37in Christ
20:37and gives you
20:39the strength
20:40to walk away
20:41when sin
20:42calls your name.
20:44This power
20:45doesn't always feel
20:46like a dramatic
20:47deliverance.
20:49It often shows up
20:51in quiet moments
20:53of decision.
20:54A thought
20:54enters your mind
20:55and the Spirit
20:57says
20:57don't well
20:59on that.
21:01A conversation
21:02turns toward gossip
21:04and the Spirit
21:05nudges
21:06walk away.
21:09A habit
21:09tries to reclaim
21:10its place
21:11but the Spirit
21:13whispers
21:13that's not
21:15who you are
21:15anymore.
21:17These moments
21:18add up.
21:20Day by day
21:21decision by decision
21:22the Spirit
21:23empowers you
21:24to walk
21:24in holiness.
21:27Temptation
21:28still comes
21:28but it loses
21:30its dominance.
21:32The enemy
21:33still whispers
21:33but his voice
21:35no longer
21:36holds authority.
21:38The Spirit
21:39gives you
21:40the ability
21:40to resist
21:41not in fear
21:43but in faith.
21:45You begin
21:45to see
21:46that temptation
21:47is not just
21:48a test
21:49to endure
21:50but an opportunity
21:52to glorify God.
21:54You resist
21:55not to earn
21:56God's love
21:57but because
21:58you already
21:59have it
21:59and the more
22:02you walk
22:02in obedience
22:03the more
22:05your appetite
22:06for sin
22:06fades
22:07and your hunger
22:09for righteousness
22:10grows.
22:11This is the
22:12victory
22:13that comes
22:14when the Holy
22:15Spirit reigns.
22:17It's not
22:18just external
22:19behavior
22:19that changes.
22:22It's the
22:23internal wiring
22:24of your soul.
22:25You're no longer
22:25walking alone.
22:28The Spirit
22:29is your helper
22:30your counselor
22:32your strength
22:33and because
22:34he lives in you
22:35sin no longer
22:36defines you.
22:38Grace does
22:38freedom does
22:40Christ does
22:42and that is
22:43a power
22:44the world
22:44cannot understand
22:46but can never
22:47deny.
22:48when the Holy
22:50Spirit takes
22:51over your life
22:52one of the
22:53most precious
22:54and profound
22:55gifts
22:55he brings
22:57is a deep
22:58unshakable
23:00peace
23:00and assurance.
23:02This is not
23:03the fragile
23:04peace the world
23:05offers
23:05which depends
23:08on favorable
23:08conditions
23:09quiet surroundings
23:11or the absence
23:13of conflict.
23:13this is a peace
23:16that holds
23:17steady in the
23:18storm
23:18a calm
23:20that remains
23:21when everything
23:22around you
23:23is falling
23:23apart.
23:25It is the
23:26peace of God
23:27flowing from
23:28the presence
23:28of God
23:29and it anchors
23:31your soul
23:32like nothing
23:33else can.
23:35Before the
23:35Holy Spirit
23:36moves into
23:37a life
23:37peace is
23:39temporary
23:39and conditional.
23:42It comes
23:43and goes
23:44with circumstances.
23:45You feel
23:46calm
23:47when things
23:47go well
23:48but anxiety
23:50quickly returns
23:51when life
23:52becomes uncertain.
23:54You question
23:55your worth
23:56your direction
23:57even your
23:58salvation
23:59doubt
24:00creeps in
24:01fear
24:02takes root
24:03but when
24:04the Spirit
24:05takes control
24:06he silences
24:08those voices
24:09and speaks
24:10truth to
24:11your heart
24:11he reassures
24:13you of who
24:14you are
24:14and whose
24:15you are
24:16Romans
24:17day 16
24:17says
24:17the Spirit
24:19himself
24:20testifies
24:21with our
24:22spirit that
24:22we are
24:23God's
24:23children.
24:25That
24:26assurance
24:27is not
24:27based on
24:28emotion
24:28or performance
24:30it is the
24:32Spirit's
24:33voice reminding
24:34you
24:34that you
24:35belong to
24:36God
24:37and nothing
24:38can separate
24:38you from
24:39his love.
24:41The peace
24:42the Holy
24:42Spirit brings
24:43is not
24:44just emotional
24:45it is
24:47spiritual
24:48it guards
24:49your heart
24:49and mind
24:50just as
24:51Philippians
24:524 G7
24:53promises
24:53and the
24:55peace of
24:56God
24:56which
24:57surpasses
24:58all
24:58understanding
24:59will guard
25:01your hearts
25:01and your
25:02minds in
25:02Christ
25:03Jesus.
25:05That word
25:06you guard
25:06is important
25:07the Spirit
25:09doesn't just
25:09give peace
25:10he protects
25:12it.
25:13He places
25:14a shield
25:15around your
25:16inner life
25:16so that
25:17worry
25:18fear
25:18and chaos
25:20cannot gain
25:21control.
25:22You may
25:23still feel
25:23pressure
25:24still face
25:25trials
25:26but beneath
25:27it all
25:27is a steady
25:28confidence
25:29that God
25:30is with you
25:31for you
25:32and working
25:34all things
25:34together
25:35for your
25:35good.
25:37This
25:38assurance
25:38is also
25:39eternal.
25:41The Spirit
25:41not only
25:42gives peace
25:43for today
25:43he secures
25:46your hope
25:46for tomorrow
25:47he is the
25:48down payment
25:49of what is
25:50to come
25:50the guarantee
25:52of your
25:53salvation.
25:55You no
25:56longer fear
25:56death or
25:57judgment
25:58because the
26:00Spirit has
26:00sealed you
26:01with the
26:02promise of
26:03redemption.
26:04You don't
26:05live in
26:05constant fear
26:07of losing
26:07your salvation
26:08or falling
26:09short.
26:11Instead
26:12you live
26:14with a
26:14quiet
26:14confidence
26:15that Jesus
26:17has finished
26:18the work
26:19and the
26:20Spirit
26:21is the
26:21witness
26:21of that
26:22truth.
26:23In everyday
26:23life
26:24this peace
26:25shows up
26:26in countless
26:27ways.
26:29It calms
26:30your heart
26:30in the
26:31waiting.
26:32It steadies
26:32your voice
26:33in conflict.
26:36It's you
26:36grounded when
26:37you face
26:37rejection,
26:39loss,
26:40or
26:40disappointment.
26:41It allows
26:42you to rest
26:43when others
26:43are restless.
26:45To hope
26:46when others
26:47are hopeless.
26:49To trust
26:50when the
26:50path is
26:51unclear.
26:53It is not
26:53the absence
26:54of trouble.
26:56It is the
26:57presence
26:58of the
26:58Spirit.
27:00When the
27:00Holy Spirit
27:01takes over
27:01your soul
27:03finds its
27:03home.
27:05You stop
27:06striving to
27:07earn peace
27:08and start
27:09living from
27:09it.
27:10You stop
27:12looking for
27:12assurance
27:13in circumstances
27:14and start
27:16receiving it
27:17from the
27:17one who
27:18never changes.
27:19And in
27:20that place
27:21you discover
27:22what it truly
27:23means to be
27:24still and
27:26know that
27:26He is
27:27God.
