Today; we are going to reflect on John chapter 6 verse 35, where Jesus says,
“I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty."
In this verse, Jesus declares Himself as the bread of life, emphasizing that He is essential for our spiritual sustenance. Just as bread nourishes our physical bodies, Jesus nourishes our souls. When we come to Him and believe in Him, our deepest spiritual hunger and thirst are satisfied. This promise assures us that in Jesus, we find complete fulfillment and eternal life. He invites us to rely on Him daily, trusting that He will provide for all our needs.
Let us Pray:
Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for being the bread of life. We come to You today, seeking to be filled with Your presence and love. Help us to trust in You completely, knowing that You satisfy our deepest longings. May we always turn to You for our spiritual nourishment and find peace in Your promises. Guide us to live in a way that reflects Your love and grace to others. In Your Holy name, we pray.
