Queensland's new LNP government have handed down their budget and it is promising a major boost to health spending. The government is saying this is a 10 per cent boost from this year, and it's touting this as a record investment. It's not uncommon, though, for state governments to deliver record health budgets amid growing demand. From 2024-25, 18.5 billion dollars will be spent on health infrastructure over five years.
