00:00Welcome to the 100 Acre Wood.
00:17It's really quite a magical place.
00:20Like most woods that are magical, there's a wonderful family of friends living here.
00:24There's Owl, who can always be depended upon to have just the right answer.
00:31Rabbit, always planning.
00:34Piglet, a rather worrisome sort.
00:36Kanga and her son Rue.
00:39Eeyore.
00:40Winnie the Pooh, of course.
00:42And Tigger, the bounciest, trounciest of the lot.
00:46It just so happens that our story is about Tigger and how he found his real family.
00:51It all started one day when Tigger wanted someone to join him in what Tiggers do best.
00:59Founce.
01:01He asked Winnie the Pooh.
01:03I must count all these honeypots to be sure that I have enough for winter.
01:08Piglet.
01:10Oh my, I haven't enough firewood to last the winter.
01:14And Kanga.
01:15Well, I'm afraid I have just too much to do this morning, dear.
01:19But alas...
01:20I wonder why nobody wants to bounce with me.
01:27Oh well, what am I talking about?
01:30There's plenty of others I haven't even asked yet.
01:32Ha ha ha ha!
01:32Now, a rock falling on someone's house in the Hundred Acre Woods is very unusual indeed.
01:49But it's just the sort of thing that always brings everyone together to help out.
01:53Why do you suppose they would help their friend?
01:57Weren't they all too busy?
01:59What a kind thing that they would forget about their own problems to help Eeyore.
02:03After all, it was his house, not theirs.
02:06Well, as it turns out, the one thing families do is work together.
02:11They cooperate with one another.
02:12Each member is part of the team.
02:16All we need is a little, uh, team effort.
02:19That's right.
02:20When all the members of the family join together, they can help one another face the toughest problems.
02:26So, with Rabbit leading the way, joined together they did.
02:31Let's pause our story for just a moment and discuss the word teamwork.
02:34And see if you can find ways your family works together to solve problems.
02:49Everyone helped with Rabbit's plan to remove the boulder from Eeyore's house.
02:53Pooh Bear, release the counterweight!
02:58Oh!
02:58Oh, good. I think I...
03:01Bother!
03:01Unfortunately, in this case, with slightly less than perfect results.
03:15What this problem needed, Digger thought...
03:18All you need is a little bouncing.
03:23Woohoo!
03:24Not a death's out of the way.
03:39Who's up for a little bouncing?
03:41Woohoo!
03:44What is it with you and bouncing?
03:46Just look at my rock remover.
03:51Everything's ruined.
03:53And all you can think about is...
03:55Bouncing!
03:58But that's what Tigger's do best.
04:00Exactly.
04:02Unlike us.
04:04Suddenly, Tigger felt very alone.
04:07But Roo thought he might have the perfect answer for his good friend.
04:10Why don't you go bouncing?
04:13That'll cheer you up.
04:16No one to bounce with, Roo boy.
04:19Oh.
04:21Well...
04:22What about another Tigger?
04:25Another Tigger?
04:27Well, that...
04:28No, it's...
04:31It's impossible, Bibola.
04:32It's crazy.
04:34I'm the onlyest one.
04:36But aren't there other Tiggers?
04:39I've got a mama.
04:41Don't you have a family somewhere, too?
04:44Why, that's ridiculous.
04:46I mean, it was...
04:48Ooh.
04:48A family full of Tiggers, you say.
04:52Can you imagine such a thing?
04:55Why, there'd be more Tiggers than you could stick a shake at.
04:58And so Tigger started off through the hundred-acre wood
05:00to get help from Owl about finding his family.
05:03Oh, you wish to find your family.
05:07It was there, while listening to Owl talk about all of his relatives,
05:11that Tigger first started thinking about...
05:13Family tree.
05:18My family tree!
05:20Why didn't I think of thinking of that?
05:22And so Tigger began his search to find the branches of his very own family tree.
05:26How are you going to know which tree is your family tree?
05:30Why, that's obvious, Roo boy.
05:32Why, it'll be all striped-y, just like yours truly.
05:36But the more Tigger searched, the more he couldn't find his family tree.
05:40It was time to look for a clue.
05:42Maybe this belonged to my uncle!
05:46Whatever.
05:47But it was Roo, from the beginning, loyally helping Tigger in his search,
05:51who found what seemed the most important...
05:53Um, well...
05:56What is this doohickey?
05:59Oh, well, that's no doohickey.
06:01It's a thingamabob.
06:03Been in the family for generations, and I never even knew I had a doohickey.
06:06Oh, this is the exact thingamabob I was looking for.
06:12And it must have a picture of my Tigger family inside it.
06:20Empty.
06:21Completely Tigger-less.
06:25How am I supposed to find my family now?
06:29Tigger was bounceless and broken-hearted.
06:31But Roo still hadn't given up on helping his friend.
06:34A letter!
06:35Why don't you write him a letter?
06:37So he did.
06:38There was nothing left but to mail the letter, and wait.
06:43And wait.
06:44And wait.
06:46And wait.
06:47Oh, what am I kidding myself?
06:51They're not coming.
06:53As Tigger slowly walked away, Roo looked on, feeling as gloomy as his stripy, sad friend.
06:59But why was Roo so sad?
07:01Roo knew where his family was.
07:03What could make him feel so sad about Tigger, not being able to find his own family?
07:07Well, in a word, caring.
07:11Roo cares about his friend Tigger.
07:13And because he cares, he feels many of the same feelings that Tigger does.
07:18Roo looks up to Tigger and enjoys the time spent with him.
07:21It was just like having Tigger in his family.
07:24I wish I had a big brother like Tigger.
07:28Now, why wish that when you have a Tigger like Tigger?
07:33Because then it'd be his little brother.
07:34And he'd be just like one of our family.
07:38Wouldn't that be great?
07:39But Roo, dear, Tigger is one of our family.
07:44And as long as we care for him, he always will be.
07:49That's what families do.
07:51They care for one another.
07:52That's why families make us feel safe and loved.
07:55Let's pause for a moment so you can talk about how people care for each other.
08:00Roo felt sad for his friend Tigger and wanted to help him.
08:20It was time to see Owl.
08:22If you suggest that a letter will bring cheer to our friend Tigger, then we shall, by all means, write one.
08:30And so Tigger's friends wrote a letter that was to look like it came from Tigger's family.
08:35What shall it say?
08:37It might say, um, dress warmly?
08:41Perhaps eat well?
08:46Good point, Pooh Bear.
08:48Stay safe and sound.
08:51Keep smiling.
08:54We're always there for you.
08:57Wishing you all the best.
08:59Signed, your family.
09:02Roo couldn't remember the last time his good friend was more boncerifically happy and excited.
09:07But no one was ready for what Tigger said next.
09:11They missed me something awful and they're coming to see me tomorrow.
09:17Where did it say that exactly?
09:21Exactly nowhere per se.
09:24Because with us Tiggers, you're gonna read betwixt the lines.
09:28So as the others watched in surprise, Tigger bounced off to prepare for his family reunion.
09:34Roo knew his friend was going to be disappointed again.
09:38What could he do?
09:40Perhaps his family will come and everything will be fine.
09:45That's it!
09:47If Roo was going to help Tigger now, it was going to take real teamwork.
09:51And to learn quickly...
09:53How to be a Tigger.
09:55How to be a Tigger is up to you.
09:58Ah, you've got to look like a Tigger.
10:01And sound like a Tigger.
10:02And act like a Tigger, too.
10:05And so Tigger's friends became Tigger's family.
10:08Surprise!
10:10Is it...
10:12Is it...
10:14Is it really you?
10:17My very own one and only family?
10:21The Tigger reunion began.
10:23And for a while it actually looked like Roo's plan would work.
10:26Until...
10:27Piglet?
10:29Kanga?
10:31Owl?
10:33Eeyore!
10:37We only wanted to help, Tigger.
10:40Helping and caring are what families do best.
10:43All that time Tigger was looking for his family, it was already right there in front of him.
10:48You mean, you, Phallus, or my family?
10:55I'm afraid we have nothing better to offer.
10:58Well, of course not, Pooh Boy.
11:01Because there's nothing better than the best.
11:06I should have seen it all along.
11:09Tigger learned that a family is much more than people who look like you.
11:12They're people who work together, help each other, and care for one another.
11:17Now that's a real family.
11:20E.T.F.N.
