A 55-year-old teacher was found dead at her home in Taman Satelit, Bahau, Negri Sembilan on Monday (June 23) after failing to show up at school.

00:00A 55-year-old teacher was found dead at her home in Taman Satellite, Bahau on Monday morning.
00:07According to a source, the teacher had failed to report for work and could not be reached,
00:12prompting the school's senior assistant to visit her home.
00:15Her car was found parked outside, but repeated phone calls went unanswered.
00:20Bahau Fire and Rescue Station Chief, Assistant Fire Superintendent Helmi Siyazni Abd Muttalib,
00:26said his department received a call at 10.14 a.m., requesting assistance to unlock the residence.
00:33Upon arrival, firefighters discovered an unconscious woman in the bedroom.
00:38She was later confirmed dead by medical personnel at the scene.
00:41The body was handed over to the police for further investigation.
00:46Sources said the teacher had been in poor health
00:48and had previously undergone treatment at the National Heart Institute, IJN,
00:53with a known history of heart disease.
00:56At the time of the incident, her husband and daughter were not at home.
01:02Jempol District Police Chief Superintendent Nohisham Mustapar confirmed the incident,
01:07adding that preliminary investigations found no signs of foul play.
