00:00This Treat and Transfer Stroke Plan before us is too superficial, too lightweight, too risky to persuade this community or this politician.
00:11So I'd urge you, have God, to withdraw it now from the consultation and start a new dialogue for stroke based at Bronglice and properly serving the whole of Mid Wales.
00:23Bronglice are critical for Mid Wales and my institutes in North Paris and for that I can assure you my full support for the causes of the wider campaign we're here in this evening and beyond. Thank you.
00:42So we have not made any decisions. This is a proposal that's been driven by clinicians who are bringing the very best understanding of how services should be delivered and the standard they should be reaching.
00:56And I trust our clinicians, as I should do inside the Health Board, as you do when you access those services.
01:04The question for me is how do we create a solution of a way forward that ensures that people are not disadvantaged from those services in the future?
01:15So that these proposals that have been presented to us will entrench that postcode lottery, especially for the people I represent in the South of Gwynedd and in Marionet.
01:24So I just want some assurances that that's not going to be the case, that the people of, we've got a million of South of Gwynedd are consulted as well and are part of this consultation process and that they are considered and their needs are also considered.
01:41We've heard from the Health Board, we've heard from the Health Board, we've heard from the Health Board, we've heard that they are open-minded, they are open to change.
01:49Might I suggest to you that in addition to the two options that you gave us, there should have been a third, which is to throw out this ridiculous, dangerous proposal, as Ed suggested, which will now, before it is too late.
02:05And feel assured, we are open to listening and we are open to changes to these consultation documents and I've met with the Health Board with both Phil and Neil only some months ago and Paul and I both said, we've heard it all before.
02:20And that's where that breakdown of trust comes between the communities the Health Board represents and the communities and those that work within the Health Board.
02:28It's that breakdown of trust.
02:30Nevertheless, their outcomes are negotiable and their voices are dispensable.
02:36This is our Health Board actively choosing a life sentence for many patients.
02:41I'm here to say clearly and loudly and without compromise, we don't accept this as Liberal Democrats and all the other parties.
02:49We're challenging this with every tool at our disposal, rallying and lobbying and will not go down quietly.
02:54To those in power, please reverse it, don't go ahead with it, listen to the people that you're meant to serve, invest in von Gleis, don't ungrade it.
