44:10The moment that Maggie actually picks it up sent chills down my spine.
44:15Holding it, it was just an interesting transfer of energy that was surprising to me.
44:20When Ginny emerges as a walker from the cell, it was powerful for all of us, you know, because
44:34not only is this character dying, this is the actor's last scene.
44:38The Negan-Ginny storyline was such an important part of last season to then kind of take that
44:44away and build it elsewhere.
44:46It was an interesting way to go.
44:48On all levels, it was a hard scene, but a beautiful scene and she was a good walker
44:53and we were all emotional that day.
44:59I think we know, you and I, and I think the audience will know, it's exactly how it played
45:05out with Lucille.
45:06And it breaks him because he loves Ginny.
45:18You promised.
45:21Herschel, he keeps sort of expecting that maybe this time he and his mom can move past the
45:29trauma that seems to be holding them back, the Negan of it all.
45:32And every time he makes himself vulnerable and lets himself believe that they can move
45:36past this, he's reminded that they're not over it and that they're not past it.
45:41And then it hurts all over again for him.
45:43And so he lashes out.
45:44Just know I will always be here for you.
45:47I won't leave the city.
45:48To me, it's like the kernel of what could be some kind of new relationship.
45:54They got a long way to go, but for a second, you could see a glimpse of the type of relationship
45:58that these two could have, that they could work through this.
46:00So where do we go from here?
46:03We end the season on Negan, Maggie, and Armstrong inspired to work together to fight for a better
46:08world.
46:09And that world is not going to be the Dama's world and it's not going to be New Babylon's
46:13world.
46:13It's something else.
46:14I think that it means that this story's not over yet.
