00:00Here we are, back together once more, but for the final time.
00:04How did we all get here?
00:06Well...
00:10Seven days earlier,
00:1211 players of exceptional ability were invited to play a game like no other.
00:19We've witnessed beautiful defeats.
00:21Strategy found. Sorry, guys.
00:23That was very unlucky.
00:25Please think about who you trust.
00:27And ugly victories.
00:30Be nice to each other.
00:32You're not letting me talk.
00:35One by one...
00:36Karma.
00:37...they've been eliminated.
00:39Here you go, Ken.
00:40See you guys later.
00:41Bye, guys.
00:44You've done so well.
00:47In the semi-final, Bex's early era brought an end to her journey.
00:52You have been eliminated.
00:54Bye, bye.
00:56Before Ken outwitted the others.
00:58It's going in.
00:59To win the main match.
01:01Ken, that is such a genius move.
01:03Good job, Ken.
01:06Ken outplayed all of us.
01:08He's earned his place in the final.
01:10Forcing Benjamin, Bedalia, and Charlotte to battle it out in a three-way death match.
01:16Oh, my God.
01:17Oh, my God.
01:18Charlotte emerged victorious.
01:20Congratulations to you both.
01:21Bye, guys.
01:23And now two players remain.
01:25It's going to be pure psych cards.
01:27Who have truly earned their place in the final.
01:30I'm going for Voltsy.
01:31The crown.
01:32Who will win the cash prize and be crowned the ultimate genius?
01:37Let the mind games begin.
01:40Playing the game scrambles your mind.
01:41Thank God there's no jail.
01:53It's, you know, you have to be in total control.
02:09Good to be back.
02:10I just wish I'd been able to play more games and be more involved.
02:14Hello, Paul.
02:15No way.
02:16Oh, well, that just shows you why I'm not a genius.
02:22I had you back to the final, Scott.
02:24It may look easy, but being in that pressure-cooker environment is so high-intensity.
02:31You know one wrong move and the game is over.
02:34Oh, Pasha.
02:35Hi.
02:36And we meet again.
02:37How are you?
02:38Good to see you.
02:39Good to see you.
02:40Who went out next, then?
02:42Who's the next person that walked through the door?
02:44You know what?
02:45Oh, my face.
02:48Dude.
02:49How are you, man?
02:51How are you doing?
02:52I think Medallia would have been next.
02:54Or Bex.
02:55Or maybe even Ben.
02:56Hello.
02:57What?
02:58I did not think so.
03:00It worked.
03:03Awesome.
03:04Oh, you look stunning.
03:07Who do you think is in the final?
03:08Ken, absolutely.
03:09Ken and Charlotte.
03:10I think Ken and Charlotte.
03:11I think for Bex, he's done amazing together.
03:12Bex has.
03:13Should be.
03:14I'm really excited to be back and be able to see this unfold.
03:18And I think it's going to be a white-knuckle ride.
03:22Oh!
03:23Oh!
03:24Bex!
03:25Oh, my God, Alison!
03:27Sorry, I've got to push you this.
03:30Oh, so sorry.
03:32Oh, my God!
03:33Oh, my God!
03:37We're in it with Charlotte and Ken.
03:38Ben!
03:41Is anyone there, right?
03:42I love it.
03:43I would just like to say that I threw Ken in the death match
03:45when I had the chance all the way back in main match three.
03:49Are we here to support?
03:50Are we here to just observe?

08:23your seats
08:30this is nerve-wracking finalists the time has come
08:37hello hello how much do you want to win i feel like i've never wanted anything more i do like
08:48winning that's why i play games i do play games to win i feel like i wanted to prove something to
08:53myself yes when i was growing up my family was all about academic skill like it was never for a
08:58second about anything else yeah games have taught me so much about myself i used to be a bad loser
09:04when i was a kid i used to hate losing so much and now i've kind of when i win the game is to go okay
09:09i won it because of not just my mental skill but my understanding of myself but like all the different
09:16aspects of genius like it doesn't just revolve around how how good you are at thinking of strategies
09:20no it's like a team game i think we're gonna have a really good match today me too me too
09:25well all that's left is to say good luck and have fun good luck have fun
09:31charlotte and ken
09:38your first death match is same or different
09:44ken was fast
09:50in this game players will attempt to find sets of three pictures to win points
09:55in each round players will be faced with a grid of nine pictures these pictures have three properties
10:01the first is shape circle square or triangle the second is shape color blue red or yellow
10:11the third is background color white black or gray in every round players must find three
10:18pictures that form a set a set is where every property of the three pictures is either the same
10:25or different for example here the shapes are all the same the colors of the shapes are all different
10:31and the background colors are all the same they form a set
10:34however in this example the backgrounds are all the same the shape colors are all different but there
10:43are two triangles and a circle so as the shapes are neither all the same or all different this is not a set
10:53players have 10 seconds to answer on their turn if a player spots a set
10:57they gain one point if they are incorrect they lose one point
11:07when a player believes there are no sets remaining they may call complete if they are correct they
11:13score three points however if there are sets remaining they will lose one point
11:19if play passes for six turns without either player giving an answer then the round is over
11:24the player with the most points after five rounds will be the winner of the death match best of luck to
11:32both players i remember this well you know it's gonna be a great game i don't know i don't know
11:39i've been running through the potential games in my head and how i would play them remembering what
11:45strategies were said what strategies were done and which one succeeded i'm feeling more prepared and when
11:51i'm prepared i'm calmer and when i'm calmer then i perform better we'll see we will see i feel good
12:00about the game it's a game that i am quite quick at charlotte's strengths lie in thinking more
12:06strategically all the time it could be anyone's game they're both gonna be equally good at yeah the
12:14three dimensions of playing the game it's just who cracks here we go charlotte and ken earlier today
12:23your fellow players allocated advantages to each of you there are two advantages which can be used
12:30at any time during today's game the first of which is invalidate the invalidate advantage enables a
12:38player to block an advantage deployed by their opponent a manfi gifted this advantage to charlotte
12:46aha that's a good advantage the second general advantage is steel the steel advantage enables a
12:53player to steal an advantage from their opponent scott gifted this advantage to charlotte
12:59thank you there are also three advantages to use only during the game same or different the first
13:10of these advantages is reveal the reveal advantage enables a player to reveal how many sets there are
13:16on the round they play it on pasha gifted this advantage to ken i hope charlotte doesn't take that
13:27against me the second advantage is double the double advantage enables a player to double the points
13:33available in that round this applies to both players and to positive and negative points bex
13:40gifted this advantage to ken thank you the final available advantage is penalty blocker the penalty
13:48blocker advantage cancels a player's first penalty in the round they choose to play it on indy gifted this
13:55advantage advantage to charlotte thank you as a player with more garnets ken will get to decide who
14:03plays first in the first round i'll go first best of luck to both players the death match will now begin
14:13would anyone like to use the advantage in this round no we will now reveal the picture for round one
14:25two five six connect one point
14:37uh one three six connect one point two three seven connect one point
14:45three five nine connect one point this could be neck and neck they're actually equally good as each
14:56there can't be many left
15:00complete that is incorrect minus one point
15:07oh dear
15:15it's quite hard this game i like it that was a fun round it feels rough to go complete and
15:44not get it i took a bit of a risk there and it didn't pay off
15:49would either of you like to use an advantage in this round yes i would like to use my reveal
15:55advantage and my double advantage thank you i've decided to use my advantages both of them
16:01i want to make her use her invalidate i would like to invalidate his reveal that's good that
16:09invalidates out of the game thank you all points will be doubled in this round fun
16:18so he's doubled up this double one works for her as well he's gonna put them trying to put the pressure
16:22on players we will now reveal the picture for round two charlotte you will start
16:28five four three correct two points one two three correct two points
16:40one five six three four five there's loads in this one one eight nine correct two points

17:04one five six correct two points
17:07two points complete oh no this is massive guys
17:27complete
17:28oh no this is massive guys
17:36that is incorrect minus two points
17:43oh wow what is missing
17:46i've seen it the question of if it's the last one
18:06there was six consecutive turns with no answer so we will move on to the next round
18:10not bad not bad i think your your double was was good i should have used my penalty delete advantage
18:19in that round taking a negative two was was pretty heavy for me i thought it was very bad when you
18:25said complete i thought that six points was gonna go your way we're neck and neck but charlotte's a
18:31great opponent she aims to win charlotte would you like to use your advantage in the next round no
18:41thank you we will now reveal the picture for round three

19:24Oh, I wanted to do it. I wanted to do it so fast again.
19:30Wow. There's only one.
19:35I can't believe that. It's such a risk. It was such a risk.
19:38It was. It was. I should have just done it. What is minus one anyway?
19:41Yeah. Tough game. No.
19:45Would anyone like to use the advantages in the next round?
19:48I would like to use penalty blocker this round.
19:50It means that she's got the advantage
19:53and that she can stay complete risk-free at least one time.
19:58We will now reveal the picture for round four.
20:01Charlotte will start.
20:06Two, three, eight. Correct, one point.
20:10Six, eight, nine.
20:12Correct, one point.
20:15Two, five, seven. Correct, one point.
20:17Correct, one point.
20:30Complete.
20:31That is incorrect.
20:32However, you did not lose any points as you used your penalty blocker.
20:35Oh, okay.
20:36Hence why I did that.
20:38I see.
20:39It's worth the risk.
20:41Do you know what I can't see anything?
20:42It's so hard.
20:45I'm very proud of you in general.
20:47Really?
20:48That is so sweet.
20:52Okay, I've seen one.
20:54Of course you have.
20:55Is it the only one?
20:56Probably.
20:58I don't want to press it.
20:59Tell me it. I'll press it.
21:00Uh, it's...
21:01Maybe.
21:04But I mean, you know, it's a risk either way.
21:06It's one, it's one, two and four.
21:08You can press it if you want.
21:10I can press it.
21:11You're going to call complete after?
21:12Yeah.
21:15Might not be complete.
21:17Six consecutive turns have passed with no buzzing in.
21:20Therefore, the round is over.
21:25Anything can happen in this last round.
21:27She's got time to come back.
21:31Players, we will now reveal the picture for the fifth and final round.
21:34Ken will start this round.
21:39Two, four, seven.
21:41Correct, one point.
21:43Two, five, eight.
21:44Correct, one point.
21:47Two, three, six.
21:49Correct, one point.
21:52Three, five, nine.
21:53Correct, one point.
21:57One, six, eight.
21:58Correct, one point.
22:00One, three, four.
22:02Correct, one point.
22:05Four, five, six.
22:07Correct, one point.
22:08Lots here.
22:09There's lots here.
22:14Complete.
22:18No.
22:19No, no, no, no.
22:22That is incorrect.
22:23Minus one point.
22:25Six, seven, nine.
22:27Correct, one point.
22:29That might be complete to us.
22:30I think it is.
22:32Yeah.
22:33Complete.
22:34That is incorrect.
22:35Minus one point.
22:39Oh, my God.
22:40She's in quite trouble.
22:46One, five, seven.
22:47Correct, one point.
22:49Four, eight, nine.
22:51Correct, one point.
22:52Have I done...
22:53Yeah, I've done that one.
23:01Three, seven, eight.
23:02Correct, one point.
23:10One, two, nine.
23:12Correct, one point.
23:14That might be it.
23:16I think there's four for each number.
23:19Are you giving me the...
23:21It's probably complete, I think.
23:22All right.
23:23I think it's all...
23:24I trust you, you know, Ken?
23:25Aw, he's being a gentleman.
23:31Complete.
23:32That is correct.
23:33Three points.
23:35You poor guy.
23:37I'm telling you, these guys deserve to be here.
23:40Same or different is now over.
23:41The game ends with Ken's victory.
23:43Congratulations.
23:44Congratulations.
23:45The first death match was very exciting.
23:47It was an eight out of ten on the Kenometer.
23:49Good game.
23:50It was just a thrill.
23:51And, you know, Charlotte was a really tough opponent,
23:53and she did very well, but I managed to eke out the win.
23:58Whoa.
24:00Two rounds in, I was so...
24:02It is a little bit frustrating,
24:03just because I was on par with him for a good while,
24:05and then it just...
24:07Yeah, he rolled too far forward.
24:09I am currently one down.
24:11But there's no clear winner until the very end of the game.
24:14I just have to believe in myself and just be fully focused.
24:17New game, new rules.
24:19Finalists, your second game is called The Golden Triangle.
24:25Now, is this because our producers came up with it
24:27when hiking across the Golden Triangle mountain range in Myanmar?
24:31Is it a subtle genius game nod to the Golden Triangle of universities
24:35in London, Oxford and Cambridge?
24:38Or is it just because there's a Golden Triangle
24:39stuck on the table it's played on?
24:41You be the judge.
24:43But it's the one about the table.
24:44In this game, each player will be given a set of tokens numbered one to ten.
24:56They will take it in turns to place these tokens onto the game board.
25:01They can be placed anywhere and in any order.
25:05Once all tokens have been played, there will be one empty triangle.
25:11This is the Golden Triangle.
25:14The sum of each player's tokens that have been placed directly next to the Golden Triangle
25:19will be their score for that round.
25:24The game will consist of three rounds and points will accumulate across the entire game.
25:29The player with the most points at the end of the game will be the winner.
25:34The Golden Triangle will begin shortly.
25:38Very tough.
25:40I've not played anything like the Golden Triangle before.
25:42It's completely new to me.
25:44It looks very difficult.
25:45There could be a dominant strategy that I haven't seen yet.
25:49If Charlotte sees the best strategy first, she could really run away with it.
25:53I think this is a very strategic game.
25:56The number you have on your first triangle is going to be very important.
25:59And I think there's a slight advantage for whoever goes second.
26:02This could go anyway.
26:04Definitely some things you should and shouldn't do.
26:06Really?
26:07I'm just trying to think how to maximise it.
26:10Yeah.
26:14I just feel like I have to beat him.
26:16I just have to believe in myself and be fully focused and just take Ken on.
26:21Let's go.
26:22Let's go.
26:27Players, in a best of three deathmatches, Ken currently leads 1-0.
26:33Charlotte, you must win this match in order to stay in the game.
26:42Ken, as the winner of the previous deathmatch, you decide the starting player in the first round.
26:49I would like to go first.
26:51Having a lead is a really good position, but Charlotte is a really tough opponent.
26:55It could be anyone's game.
26:57I fancy he wins this.
26:59I think Charlotte's got this one.
27:01Players, there are two advantages available in Golden Triangle.
27:05The first is duplicate, which enables a player to duplicate one of their tokens.
27:11Alison gifted this advantage to Ken.
27:15The second advantage is added value.
27:19This enables a player to secretly add two to the value of any one of their tokens.
27:25As Ken is the player with the most garnets, he earns this advantage.
27:38Charlotte still has the steal advantage available, which enables her to steal an advantage of her choice from Ken.
27:45If she steals his one, that's mega.
27:51Would anybody like to use an advantage in this round?
27:56I'd like to steal Ken's Duke King.
28:01Her stealing is a perfect move.
28:02It's the smart thing to do for Charlotte, she has to do it.
28:08Ken, please hand over the advantage to Charlotte.
28:12You may play your advantages in any of the three rounds.
28:16Would either of you like to play an advantage in the first round?
28:19Charlotte, Ken, the first round of Golden Triangle will begin now.
28:25Anything could go wrong in the first move.
28:26There could be some secret hidden strategies that are really good, and I just don't know.
28:39Having a complete new game is really worrying.
28:41I've got to figure this out before she does.
28:47Interesting.
28:49Was that a strong position?
28:51Dunno.
28:53Was it not?
28:55One could argue it's one of the stronger positions.
28:58One could argue that.
29:00I think this game is a lot about reading what the next steps will be.
29:05You're trying to ensure the Golden Triangle's in a place where you lose the least
29:10or you gain the most amount of points.
29:14I think there's a lot of different ways you can play this.
29:17Right now, I'm currently following how Ken is playing with his high-value tiles first.
29:21Nice.
29:24Nice.
29:25But I'm placing them in ways in which they have more map coverage.
29:29She's going ten, nine, eight, downwards.
29:39But I'm trying to think, if I follow this, does that put me at a disadvantage,
29:44because I went second?
29:45Does that put me at a disadvantage?
29:46I don't know. It depends how well we place.
29:48I would take my one and just block his ten.
29:51Yeah, I'd go straight in front of it.
29:55Why is this stressing me out so hard?
29:57There's just so many unknowns.
30:00There is so many unknowns.
30:01We won't know what's good until the ground ends, to be honest.
30:04That's true.
30:09Yes.
30:10I see what she's doing.
30:12She's trying to get as many of the empty triangles next to her big numbers.
30:16Mm-hmm.
30:17Control the adjacency.
30:18Yeah, so it's hard for him to block all of the things that she gets a big number next to.
30:21Yeah, because even right now, she has so many triangles that need blocking.
30:25Oh, how have you thought of these already so fast?
30:49I've decided this game to play a really simple strategy for the first round.
30:59It's just put your high value tiles in places with three adjacent triangles.
31:04I think that will put her on the back foot because she has to then react to just stay in the game.
31:10Okay, so I have to block out your ten somehow.
31:14I think Ken has got more of a handle on this game than I do.
31:17I think he understands the game better.
31:18I'm very worried about that because there are definitely strategies to this game,
31:22but I just don't understand it at this point.
31:52I understand the logic.
31:53If you play offensively, it means that you're controlling the other player's next move.
31:56Yeah.
31:57You know what they have to play.
32:12I feel like at this point, I'm just mitigating losses, you know?
32:14Really?
32:15With positioning.
32:17Right, yeah.
32:18I feel like if I put it here, it's not terrible.
32:25That's probably the play to do, but everything else is mitigation.
32:27Like, there's no attack in this form.
32:33I think she's pretty on edge.
32:34Yeah.
32:35Ken's monopolizing the gaps.
32:36He's got all those key triangles.
32:40I think I just have to put it here.
32:43Yeah.
32:44It's quite tough to get that many points in this situation.
32:50Yeah.
32:51I mean, that's always going to go there at some point.
32:53I mean, this is going to go here, I believe.
32:56OK.
32:57Yeah.
33:00I'm not sure, actually.
33:04So that gives you plus four on me if we leave that over.
33:07That's true.
33:08OK.
33:09Um...
33:10I'm mathing that correctly, right?
33:11Mm-hm.
33:12Four to three.
33:13Mathing, mathing.
33:14I will now place the golden triangle.
33:15I'm mathing that correctly, right?
33:16Mm-hm.
33:17Four to three.
33:18Mathing, mathing.
33:19I will now place the golden triangle.
33:21Charlotte, after round one, you have four points.
33:22And Ken, you have seven.
33:23Good round.
33:24Good round.
33:25Good round.
33:26Good.
33:27Good.
33:28Good round.
33:29Good.
33:30Good round.
33:31Good.
33:32Oh, she's not ruined.
33:33That's not a disaster, though.
33:34Yeah.
33:35I'm mathing that correctly.
33:36I'm mathing that correctly, right?
33:37Mm-hm.
33:38Four to three.
33:39Mating, mathing.
33:40I will now place the golden triangle.
33:42Charlotte, after round one, you have four points.
33:45And Ken, you have seven.
33:46Good round.
33:47Good round.
33:48Good round.
33:49Oh, she's not ruined.
33:52It's not...
33:53It's not a disaster, though.
33:55No.
33:56And I think they both learned a lot from this game.
33:58Yeah.
33:59We will shortly begin round two.
34:02Would either of you like to use an advantage in this round?
34:05I'm okay.
34:06At this point, Charlotte is one nil down,
34:10so she needs to use advantages to just stay in the game.
34:13I'm okay.
34:14I only have plans to use my duplicate,
34:18which I've stolen from Ken,
34:20the moment he uses his plus two.
34:22Ken, as the winner of the previous round,
34:24you may decide who goes first.
34:27I would like to go first, please.
34:31Round two will begin now.
34:33So much pressure now on this game.
34:35Yeah.
34:39This round, I've decided to place my tie triangles close together
34:42to force my opponent to deal with all of that.
34:45I noticed in the past round that the placement of the tiles wasn't optimal,
34:50so I'm deciding to change where I put my first tile
34:54just to see how much it will affect the board later on.
34:57She seems a lot more composed than she did towards the end of the last round.
35:01Yeah.
35:02She does seem more composed.
35:03Yeah.
35:04Oh, this is so rough.
35:05The math ain't math-ing.
35:06It...
35:07It...
35:08It's just the maths game, isn't it?
35:09It literally is a maths game, and we're talking to, like, a maths.
35:10You're not good at maths, you're good at maths.
35:11Who said I was good at maths?
35:12Just... just your vibe, I think.
35:13Thank you, because I'm Asian.
35:14No.
35:16I don't.
35:17No.
35:19I don't know.
35:22I don't know.
35:24Absolutely.
35:25It's just the maths game, isn't it?
35:26It literally is a maths game, and we're talking to, like, a maths.
35:31You're not good at maths, you're good at maths.
35:32Who said I was good at maths?
35:33Just... just your vibe, I think.
35:34Thank you, because I'm Asian.
35:35No.
35:37No.
35:44Let's just throw this in.
35:47Might as well at this point.
35:53It's a pretty good move for you, for you, I think.
35:55I'm not sure where to go now.
35:58I think that seven was a brilliant move.
36:00She's going to do them.
36:01Yeah, that was smart.
36:02She's playing a little better this round.
36:04She's going to win this.
36:04I'm not sure.
36:09I don't know how, but it looks like I don't have enough pieces
36:11to actually deal with her high-value ones.
36:17Stuff in, stuff in.
36:20Going into round two, sort of understand the game a bit more,
36:24and I have confidence in my abilities,
36:26but Ken is surely in it for the win, as am I.
36:31Very tough, this game.
36:32Yeah.
36:34It doesn't really matter which one I put, right?
36:56I think it might end up being a draw.
37:00Hold it.
37:01Hold it.
37:02Nice.
37:14Nice.
37:16I will now place the golden triangle.
37:22At the end of the second round,
37:23Charlotte has 12 points, and Ken has 15 points.
37:27Good game.
37:28Good game.
37:29Wow, that's a result for her.
37:32My God, she's batting again.
37:33I think Charlotte's really thinking,
37:35because he's playing for either a draw or a win,
37:37she has to play for a win, which is...
37:39In fact, he wouldn't even mind a loss of two.
37:42He wouldn't mind that either one.
37:43And she has a duplicate.
37:45All to play for now.
37:46As the previous round was a draw,
37:57Charlotte, you may decide who goes first in the next round.
38:00I would like to go first, please.
38:02Before the round begins,
38:04would either of you like to play your advantages?
38:06Yes.
38:07Yes, please.
38:09Charlotte, which token would you like to duplicate for the next round?
38:12My 10.
38:14Which token would you like your 10 to replace?
38:17But one.
38:21Oof, look at that.
38:22Big 10.
38:23That's scary, isn't it?
38:24That's a nine-point advantage.
38:26I'm pretty sure that means...
38:28I don't know how I make up nine points.
38:29Thank you very much.
38:31You don't.
38:32Yeah.
38:32Pretty powerful advantage.
38:34Yeah, I would say.
38:3510-10.
38:36He has to block both of those now.
38:39Because they're big points for her.
38:40She's super focused now.
38:41Look, the chat's gone.
38:42This is the Charlotte winning face.
38:44I'm telling you.
38:44Yeah.
38:46Ken, you may now go to the dealer room
38:49and let the dealer know which token you would like to add 2-2.
38:55I have a chance in this game.
38:57Using my duplicate advantage and swapping my 1 for a 10
38:59should give me the edge to win this round.
39:02You just have to remain calm.
39:03Just look at the board, play the game, beat your opponent.
39:08I would like it to add 2 to the token 8.
39:13It just seems like a good number because it's not the 10.
39:16The 10 would be very obvious and the 9 would be quite obvious
39:19and it just seems like 8's the next best one.
39:22It's a bit like chess, really, this game.
39:24You have to think 10 moves ahead.
39:26At this point, as long as I don't lose this round by more than 3 points,
39:31I will win the whole game because I'm 3 points ahead.
39:33The final round of Golden Triangle will begin now.
39:43Solid start.
39:52And so it starts.
39:54Let's try something different, I guess.
39:57Don't know what the ramifications will be.
39:59I could have easily done the exact same thing from round 1,
40:02but Charlotte has taken my spot from the first round,
40:04so it could be anyone's game.
40:06I have a chance in this game.
40:09Just have to remain calm.
40:11There's no panicking here.
40:12Just look at the board, play the game, beat your opponent.
40:15I don't know, to be honest.
40:36I don't know.
40:38I feel like something's gone wrong.
40:43Is it going a bit?
40:44Charlotte has now controlled 3 out of the 5 key triangles.
40:47She's going to win this.
40:53Where's my 7?
40:54Oh, my 7's on the table.
40:58I actually messed this up already.
41:00It doesn't feel great at this point.
41:03Charlotte has her pieces down in a really strong position.
41:06It feels like I'm going to have to spend a lot of tiles just blocking her.
41:17Already having used my high numbered tiles,
41:19I can't quite figure out what I need to do to win.
41:22He knows exactly what he needs to do to just not lose,
41:25and it makes it hard to come back from a deficit.
41:30It's so hard with that 10 in there.
41:34Not much I can do.
41:36I should have put that down.
41:38That was a mistake.
41:41I think you might win it in the third round.
41:44No, because I don't know which tile you added two points to.
41:48That's true.
41:49I could put on anything.
41:54This is just super hard.
41:56It's going to go down the wire.
41:57Wow.
42:00This is definitely a game where every move counts,
42:28and positioning matters, and point accumulation also matters.
42:31So now it's just about a battle of who can figure it out faster.
42:34Now I feel like it's on your one.
42:43Actually.
42:53Oh, this has got tough now.
42:55I mean, she has to go for it.
42:56She needs to win this now.
42:58He can still win the game if he loses this round by one or two.
43:01I think you have it.
43:30Oh, my God.
43:37Oh.
43:41I will now place the golden triangle.
43:47Ken, as you placed your added value on your number eight,
43:51the final scores are 25 to Ken and 21 to Charlotte.
43:58Good game.
43:58Good game.
43:59Good game.
44:00So that's two straight wins.
44:01No need for a third game.
44:02Swift and deadly.
44:03Ken, you are the winner of Genius Game.
44:07Congratulations.
44:08Thank you very much.
44:18Great game.
44:20Well done.
44:21Well done.
44:26Ken deserves this.
44:27This is his win.
44:28And I think he's absolutely brilliant.
44:30I won.
44:31I won Genius Game.
44:33Feeling great.
44:33I've never expected to get this far.
44:35Well done.
44:36You played so amazing.
44:38Charlotte played very well.
44:39She was a really tough opponent.
44:41I really thought we might go to a third game, but just managed to clinch that win.
44:45Good job, honestly.
44:46Good job.
44:47Good job.
44:48I hope I was good competition.
44:49You were great.
44:50Good competition.
44:51You were.
44:52I was really happy when he said he was proud of me.
44:58I learned that I am so much stronger than I used to think that I was,
45:04and I honestly couldn't be happy or proud of myself.
45:08Ken, we will exchange your 44 garnets for a prize of £44,000.
45:15That's a lot of money.
45:18Drinks on you.
45:19He knows when to play quiet.
45:21He knows when to play strong.
45:23And he has the ability to back it up as well.
45:25Worthy winner.
45:26Worthy genius.
45:27Well done to all the players who took part in Genius Game.
45:30You and your brains were all truly magnificent.
45:33What a ride.
45:34For now, I shall bid you farewell.
45:40Speech.
45:41Honestly, it's an honor to win, but it was an even big honor to play against all of you.
45:46Genuinely, some of the best people I've ever met.
45:49Wow.
45:51Thank you so much.
45:52I think what makes a genius is being able to understand not only academic things and other
45:59people, but also yourself.
46:07Game's over.
46:08For now.
46:09For now.
46:10Game's over.
46:11For now.
46:12For now.
46:13Game's over.
46:14For now.
46:15For now.
46:16Game's over.
46:17For now.
46:18For now.
46:19Game's over.
46:20Game's over.
46:21For now.
46:34Or diving.
