The much-awaited Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Aerotrain is set to return to service as early as July 1, said Transport Minister Anthony Loke during his inspection of the train on Saturday (June 21).

00:00Together with the management and the chairman of MHP today, I made a trial run of our KLIA Aerotrain.
00:15I'm happy to announce that we are entering the final phase of testing.
00:19There will be a few more testing in the next few days.
00:22And one of the major tests that we will conduct will be the ERP or the Emergency Response.
00:27A plan that we will conduct together with all MHP staff as well as our response team.
00:35So if everything goes smoothly, we have decided to reopen the KLIA Aerotrain service by 1 July 2025 at 10am in the morning.
00:47So with the resumption of the KLIA Aerotrain, we hope that the KLIA passengers will feel more comfortable
00:55to transit between the main terminal building and the satellite building.
00:59While the Aerotrain is in service, the current bus system that we have put in place for the past or over past one year
01:07will still be in operation.
01:10So to ensure that everything goes smoothly.
01:13So this will be our approach moving forward.
01:17KLIA, of course, is our major gateway in Malaysia.
01:20And we are looking forward with the resumption of the Aerotrain to make the entire process in KLIA even smoother.
01:29This year is important because we are the chairman of ASEAN.
01:33There will be more meetings coming up for ASEAN in the next few months until the end of the year
01:39where another subway will be held in Kuala Lumpur.
01:42And then by 2026, it is a major year for Malaysia's tourism because we are organizing our visit Malaysia year 2026.
01:53Capacity ialah 270 untuk setiap trip.
01:58Ada tiga gerabak.
01:59Satu gerabak ialah 90 orang penumpang.

02:02Iaitu maintenance dapat dijalankan dengan baik.
02:04Dari segi aspek keselamatan, ini memang sesuatu yang sangat penting.

02:11Dan ujian-ujian ini setelah tentu akan dipantau oleh APAD, Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat.
02:17Dan seperti yang kita katakan, segala ujian itu akan dilaksanakan.
02:21Termasuklah emergency response yang akan dilaksanakan dalam masa beberapa hari ini.
02:26Dan selepas itu, baru Agensi Pengangkutan Awam Darat akan sign off untuk meluluskan penggunaan Aerotrain ini.

02:41Sistem bus yang akan dihantar sebagai pembuatan penggunaan untuk operasi.
