00:00Today in beautiful Budapest at the OTP Bank World Judo Championships,
00:04the mixed team competition is about more than medals.
00:08It's about team spirit, unity and the values at the heart of judo.
00:13Expect big throws, big emotions and unforgettable moments
00:17as athletes fight not for themselves but for each other.
00:23In the semi-final, Japan led early against strong contenders Georgia
00:28in an intense contest.
00:30But big throws from Georgian heavyweight Guram Tushishvili
00:34and freshly crowned world champion Itiri Lippatiliani flip the script.
00:41Having built momentum, Georgia powered through with another epon
00:45from Michele Bakbakashvili.
00:49Utana Terada tried to even the score for Team Japan.
00:54But then in a repeat of the Olympic final, Lasha Bakaori emerged victorious,
00:59driving the passionate Georgian team into the world final with commanding style.
01:07The Republic of Korea team delivered a dominant performance in their semi-final against Germany,
01:13sweeping to victory 4-0.
01:15With sharp technique, relentless pressure and outstanding team spirit,
01:18they left no room for doubt and secured their place in the final in emphatic fashion.
01:28It was the Republic of Korea versus Georgia in the final, contending for the gold medal.
01:33Who would rewrite history?
01:38Lee ensured Korea led with a nippon, setting the tone with a confident performance.
01:43But fresh off her world championship win, Lippatiliani evened the score.
01:48Bhakbakashvili held his way to victory, and Shanturia took home another win for Team Georgia.
01:57At 3-1, it was left to double Olympic champion Lasha Bakaori to take it home for his team.
