00:00BKFC 76, down there in Fort Worth, Texas, tomorrow, Saturday, June 21st, headlined by a lightweight
00:06fight that is no longer a title fight. We're supposed to get a rematch between Sonos, Tony
00:11Soto, and Franco Tanaglia. Unfortunately, Tanaglia is out. Late replacement now is Ben Bonner,
00:17the 34-year-old from the UK, who is 3-1 over there. All his fights have been for the BKFC
00:22in the UK, all by stoppage, all four of them. Two wins in a row for him going against Tony Soto,
00:27the 37-year-old from South Carolina, 6-1 in the BKFC. That one loss came in his last fight
00:32against Tanaglia in Spain for the title. Other than that, had been moving through everybody
00:36the BKFC put in front of him. We were wondering when he was going to get his title shot. Finally
00:40did in a fight of the year against Tanaglia. Now does not get to rematch on them, fortunately.
00:45I'm taking Soto. I'm going to go by TKO, too. I know he's had a couple decisions in the last
00:49few fights, but I think he's been trading to be at his best for the title. Not to look down
00:55on Bonner, but he is in Franco Tanaglia, and I think Soto is going to take it out on him.
00:58Then, also, co-headline event, Andre Arlovsky versus Josh Copeland at heavyweight. Arlovsky,
01:05the pit bull, the 46-year-old, long-time UFC fighter, former UFC champion, fought as well
01:12for affliction, making his BKFC debut after a 34-24 career in MMA. Going against Josh Cuddlybear
01:21Copeland, the 42-year-old from Colorado, who's stepping in here as a replacement. Hasn't fought
01:25since being her earliest by third-round TKO in September of 2023, but that's a big step up in
01:30competition from what Arlovsky was going to face before. Now he gets Copeland. This is going to
01:34be a great fight between these two. Can't wait to see how that one ends. Someone's going down,
01:37I think, once again, as we saw with the heavyweights this past weekend. Then, also,
01:41making their debuts at women's flyweight. Jessica Ai versus Maria Agapova. Ai, the 38-year-old
01:46from the U.S., former UFC and MMA fighter for a Bellator fighter, 15-11 in her MMA career,
01:5211 wins by decision. Hasn't fought since 2022. Going against Agapova, the 28-year-old from
01:56Kazakhstan, who now trains out of Florida, 10-5 for her career, five wins by submission.
02:01So she's going to have to stand and trade more than she probably is used to before.
02:04Former UFC fighter. Has fought a few boxing matches before this with gloves on. Lost notably
02:09to Nicole Schaefer, who we've seen in the BKFC. So now, when she takes the gloves off,
02:13is she going to do better than she did with him on? I don't know. That's tough. Both these women
02:17haven't had a lot of wins lately. I'm going to roll with either. I think she's just a little bit
02:21tougher than we've seen from Agapova so far in her career. Also, in heavyweight, you have Anthony
02:26Garrett versus Hayes Wilson. Wilson, the hooligan, the 38-year-old from Oklahoma, a kickboxer making
02:31his BKFC debut. Three bare-knuckle boxing fights and other promotions. First time here in the premier
02:36promotion. Lost all first or second round finishes of his fights, whether he wins or loses. Two of those,
02:43in under a minute. So now he's going against Anthony Garrett. You want to talk about quick
02:47finishes? Well, Lionheart, the 35-year-old who now trains in Texas, former kickboxer and MMA fighter,
02:53is 2-0 in the BKFC. Won by 16 seconds. Won by 12 seconds. So he is a guy that is going to go in
03:01there and try to get the victory. He's not in there for long. He's just in there for the victory.
03:05We'll see if he can do that against his opponent in Wilson coming over and making his debut for the
03:10BKFC. I'm rolling with Garrett. How can you not with the way the guys put people down with just
03:14one punch? Also at heavyweight, you got Kenzie Morrison versus Alex Davis. Davis, the 30-year-old
03:19from West Virginia, former glove boxer. 1-0 in the BKFC. 22nd knockout in September of 2024.
03:25And the third round KO loss to Braxton Smith in December of 2024. Going against Morrison,
03:30the son of Tommy Morrison, the 34-year-old from Oklahoma, former glove boxer. 22-1-2 with lots of
03:38KOs, TKOs in his boxing career. Now he takes them off and is going to go BKFC. First time for him.
03:46I'm going to roll with Morrison. Not just because of the name. When you see that record, you see the
03:50results. How could you not? This guy has been dropping guys with the padding. Now he's going
03:54to take it off. I think he's going to do the same here. Then at lightweight, we get another fan
03:57favorite getting in there and mixing it up for the BKFC. When Ruben Ward gets back in the square
04:02circle, he's going to fight J.C. DeLeon. DeLeon from Texas. 1-3 in his MMA career. Making his BKFC
04:08debut. He went 2-0 fighting in other bare-knuckle promotions. It's going to be a first time with the
04:12BKFC though. And of course, bad boy Ruben Ward, the 36-year-old from Louisville. 2-1 in his 1-0
04:19contest as well in his BKFC career. Coming off his decision loss to Bovar Konnikov in November of
04:252024. Before that, he had a six-second KO of Robbie Problems Peralta back in July of 2024. So
04:30he wants some retribution here. He wants to get his name back in the mix. And coming in a very
04:35happy man. I saw recently engaged as well. So, you know, things are going well for him in many
04:39aspects. We'll see if it does in the fight game as well as he gets in the mix here for this BKFC
04:44card in Texas.
