00:00uh let's first look back at the fight you had against career we talked to you right before that

00:03you talked about how you were relishing getting to fight a total fighter that you don't get that

00:07opportunity much and you know usually the punch that you wouldn't expect to be the main catalyst

00:13in the fight against a total fighter is the uppercut but you certainly use that you got the

00:17half tie clinch there brought him down to you know your level a little more caught him with a couple

00:20uppercuts early with him coming forward that stunned him and then right after that once you

00:25saw that he was not 100 you just went off and unloaded on him a quick 30 second finish of the

00:31dark night uh how did you feel as that fight was going on you know in the early goings walking in

00:35there and then once you caught him with those uppercuts did you know it was just a matter of time

00:39yeah man i felt really comfortable going in there um you know the fight of course went much quicker

00:48than expected and uh i don't mean that any kind of cocky way you know he's just he's known to be a

00:54durable guy um regardless of when he's had wins or losses he you know tends to go the distance um

01:01but yeah once i hit him with that first uppercut within the clinch i knew it landed hard um i knew

01:07it hurt him a little bit and then the the following punches i could just feel it feel it compounding you

01:12know and uh he was tough he was he was really trying to uh trying to hang in there and and uh still

01:19stay on his feet but he kept he kept buckling a bit and uh you know then he finally fell and

01:24a lot of cuts came as a result of that flurry and uh you know i'm just glad that it went as

01:30quickly and smoothly as it is i always say we don't get paid by the hour certainly don't now of

01:36course you know as you come mostly on march from that one of the quick fight like that hopefully

01:40you can get back in there again soon as you try to make your way towards uh that title shot once

01:44again that you held and now uh looking for again i know before that fight you know oh they had a story

01:50of the dyer richmond fight that you were talking about that you thought richmond win the belt you

01:53thought he would continue to hold the belt thought he beat dyer that he was the better fighter but of

01:57course now dyer ends up with that title uh he is the new champion with that one picking apart

02:02richmond from a distance over the four rounds before uh his head swelled up to a huge size and the doctor

02:07stepped in there what did you think uh you know you obviously like i said you thought richmond was

02:11going to win but what did you think is the fight was going on and uh what josh d-day dyer did to him

02:16yeah um you know both the guys didn't look like their their typical selves i think uh you know richmond

02:25was was a little less patient in his approach this time and uh you know as much as i don't like dyer he

02:32was patient for the first time i've i've seen him so uh you know they both had different game plans and

02:39and obviously dyer's worked out for him um but i don't care the the good side is is like

02:45you know personality wise i've always liked richmond and um you know i just don't like

02:53dyer because he's always finding a reason to to talk crap but um so it's real i'm kind of like glad

02:59that he won because now i get to punch him in the face you know i mean like i don't think that there's

03:04uh anybody else in the mix i know he wants to call out perry and hope to get a big money

03:09fight which yeah hey we all do but they like to use perry for just that you know i mean they'll

03:15bring in another big name someone like you know i know they they talked about robbie lawler and stuff

03:20like that but um you know he can try he can try and duck me and throw other names in there if he

03:25wants but it's only a matter of time yeah i mean i'm healthy i'm ready um you know i know he lives in

03:32south dakota sturgis is coming up you know that'd be a fun uh main event if they want to throw that

03:39together i'm like i said i'm i'm unmarked and i'm ready to go
