Vanathi Srinivasan praises Yoga’s Impact, criticizes Muslim quota push

Delhi: BJP Mahila Morcha National President Vanathi Srinivasan stated to IANS, The international community is grateful for yoga and its benefits are widely recognized. International Yoga Day is celebrated with great enthusiasm globally. On religion-based reservations, she added, Dr. Ambedkar envisioned reservations for socially and educationally backward communities. 00:00It's a new era has been created under the leadership of Narendra Mode as far as yoga is concerned.

00:06There are multiple things that is happening, but as far as yoga is concerned now,

00:10all the international community are thankful for this great yoga and our efforts in popularizing yoga

00:21and creating an awareness about the benefits of yoga.

00:25Now, every section of the society is understanding the importance of yoga and this international yoga divas,

00:31it is being celebrated with such a highest enthusiasm across the global that all the important locations.

00:40I could see that how the NGOs, government organizations and ministries and some of the communities, organizations,

00:50they are also organizing this yoga divas with such a great enthusiasm.

00:53So, we are all thankful to our Honorable Prime Minister.

00:57When we are looking this religious base reservation,

01:03so, Dr. Ambedkar Ji's vision may, particularly when the constitution has been drafted,

01:10the reservation has been meant only for socially and educationally backward communities.

01:15But, of late, particularly the Congress party and some of the alliance parties of the Congress,

01:23they started giving the religious base reservation to the Muslim community.

01:27And it is against constitution and when it is being constrained in the court,

01:32definitely the judiciary will take a right thing about this religious base reservation.

01:37So, we have seen that in Paris Paralympic, how we have got more number of medals, particularly our para-athletes.

01:46They have shown their perseverance and they have shown their commitment,

01:51how they can win the medals and how they have added the honor to the country.

01:57And, first time in India, in September, we are going to host our world para-athletes.

02:07So, today, our Honorable Chief Minister of Delhi, Mrs. Rekha Gupta Ji,

02:13along with our brand ambassador for this event, Kangana Ranavut,

02:17they have released the logo of this event and also the mascot, the virage that has been declared open

02:24and 100 days to go to host this world para-athletic championship.

02:30So, as being a chief patron of Paralympic Committee of India,

02:33we are seeing a lot of hope and also we are very much confident

02:38that our government of India under the leadership of Narendra Modiji,

02:42they would show how the India, the para-sport ecosystem is strong in hosting the world championship.

02:52So, on this way, we are thankful to the government of India as well as the government of Delhi

02:58and as being the committee members, we are so thankful and grateful for the event that is being very successfully,

03:07there has been, I mean, the logo has been released.
