Eyewitness video released on June 19, 2025 shows the moment Elon Musk’s SpaceX Starship 36 exploded during testing in Brownsville, Texas, United States. Reuters was able to confirm the location from spacecraft equipment and structures which matched with satellite and livestream footages. Date was verified by the announcement from SpaceX and file data. SpaceX posted on X that 'on June 18 at approximately 11 p.m. CT (0400 GMT on June 19), the Starship preparing for the 10th flight test experienced a major anomaly while on a test stand.'
