Japan advances in quantum race with world’s largest-class superconducting quantum computer

The new quantum system developed by researchers at the Japanese National Research and Development Agency, RIKEN, in collaboration with the Japanese IT giant, Fujitsu, has 256 qubits. However, experts say, ensuring the quality of qubits is as important as the quantity of qubits.

00:00Welcome to the show.
00:29The new world-class world-largest-class open-super-ponderful-qubit system with 256 qubits.
00:40We can make any size qubit cheap using the 3D content structure.
00:48A 256 qubit platform, that would be about a factor 2 larger than the largest IBM platform that's commercially available.
01:09It's probably on par with what you can get in other modalities.
01:18In the new design, we can reduce the power of the amplifier like this over the 60%.
01:42Yeah, so a rocket bus is very important to build the larger system.
01:49What's a no-cubit system?
01:54What's a no-cubit system is very cost-opening devices.
01:59So at first, we have to make the technologies to build such a bigger system.
02:07It is one of the demonstrations of such a dense design.
02:13Okay, using this design, we can build the more lighter system like the over the 100 qubit system.
02:20I'd do it a 100- reactions.
02:21I'm same.
02:22Wait for a comments.
02:23You leave me a Thousand Curitated Overview now.
02:24All you are there!
02:25We won't lose.
02:26Thank you, dr.
02:27See you next time, coalesce with us!
02:28разрешing the laughter.
02:29Jeff that I don't know what a trick that tells us now
02:43is it trulyoding.
02:44Just11y, we get or make the scratch and tumor.
