Kemi Badenoch urges Tory MPs to vote against the assisted dying Bill

00:00A poor question from me is just, you're against the Assisted Dying Bill.

00:03What guidance would you give to your own MPs on the vote?

00:05Well, this has been a free vote.

00:08I'm somebody who has been previously supportive of assisted suicide.

00:12This bill is a bad bill. It is not going to deliver.

00:15It has not been done properly.

00:16This is not how we should put through legislation like this.

00:19I don't believe that the NHS and other services are ready to carry out assisted suicide.

00:24So I'll be voting no, and I hope as many Conservative MPs as possible will be supporting me in that.
