After her debut album under the pseudonim Laurence Vanay, in 1975 Jacqueline Thibault released her second album "Evening colours" under the fictiuos band name Gate Way. "Evening colours" marked a step forward in Vanay's songwriting visions. Symphonic folk rock including lots of keyboards, soft acoustic and electric guitars, piano, flutes with even some mild zehul touches, in a merge of deeply melodical beauty, relaxed and calm. There are some more rockiest moments with fuzzy guitars donating a somewhat trippy atmosphere to the whole album. There are voices, yes, but all modulated without words, just voices.
Alone in the rain. Lover's prayer. Evening colours. Morning quiet song. Walk thru tomorrow. Strange moment. Twin cities. Forgotten moments. Eyes closed on the way. Underwater light reflections. Sunshine in my heart.
