New Delhi, June 19, 2025 (ANI): On the first foundation day of Chintan Research Foundation, Adani Enterprises Director Pranav Adani said, “...India is not only Delhi or the capital cities but India lives in the heartland, that is why I said in my speech that whether it is Ranchi, Raipur, Bhubaneswar or the Northeast, what really matters is this is where the real India lives and this is where we want them to come in into our focus into our central economy...India is in a very great situation right now. The 1.4 billion people that we have are our real asset...50 per cent of the economy is engaged in the growth of the GDP, and the other 50 per cent is passive. Now that has to really come into focus and I think that's when the real Indian growth story will happen and I'm very optimistic. We as a group are very optimistic…”

00:00See, as I mentioned in my speech, foundations have, particularly research foundations, have a lot of responsibility,

00:10particularly when you're doing research and particularly when you're doing evidence-based research.

00:16See, the Chintan Research Foundation is going to focus on two or three very important pillars.

00:22One is on climate change, like I mentioned.

00:25Second is on geopolitical issues and do a lot of research on that.

00:29And third is economy and trade.

00:31These are the three things that we are going to initially focus on and then take up other research-based verticals.

00:39Sir, in your speech you mentioned that we have to move out of Delhi and focus on different areas.

00:43What do you have to say?

00:44See, the reason why I said that is because with the vision of our Honorable Prime Minister by the year 2047,

00:52when we have to move out of Delhi and the capital cities, but India really lives in the heartland,

01:02which is why I said in my speech that whether it is Raipur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar or the Northeast,

01:08what really matters is this is where the real India lives and this is where we want them to come in into our focus,

01:14into our central economy.

01:15So, with that in mind, I think that is where the real India lives.

01:18How is India's growth story looking for you right now?

01:21We have a plan for the 24-7 survey.

01:24See, I think India is right now in a very great situation.

01:28I think this 1.4 billion people that we have is our real asset.

01:32Like we heard in one of the speakers, he said that 50% of the economy is really engaged in the growth of the GDP

01:39and the other 50% is passive.

01:42Now, that has to really come into the focus and I think that's when the real Indian growth story will happen
