00:00So the United States very clearly wants Pakistan to stay out of this conflict, not to join in on Iran's side.
00:07Though the possibility of that was however remote it could be, they wanted to ensure that Pakistan stayed out of this one.
00:14Give me what I want or else.
00:16American scholar Stephen Cohen once said Pakistan negotiates with the world by holding the gun to its own head.
00:22In 2025, what does the head of the Pakistani army want from the US president?
00:26And what does Donald Trump want from Pakistan?
00:28I love Pakistan.
00:30As these visuals came out of the White House, in Iran, Israeli bombs were dropping like rain from the sky.
00:35A time so busy for the American president, he dropped out of the G7 summit a day sooner.
00:39So what is he doing hosting the field marshal from Pakistan for lunch?
00:43This is Donald Trump ensuring that Pakistan stays out of this Iran conflict.
00:48And also the possibility that if the United States actually enters the conflict on the side of Israel, of course,
00:55Pakistan will be able to provide its basis and provide its airspace for US fighter jets to attack Iran.
01:03So Donald Trump is very confident of getting a trade deal with India.
01:08It's one of his key objectives.
01:10He wants a quick win.
01:12Trump has been talking about using that trade deal as a lever to get India to dial down on the hostilities and to call for a ceasefire.
01:21That's not true either.
01:23But what he seems to be doing in the next couple of months is to get a quick win,
01:27which he can, you know, hold out to the world and say,
01:31this is something that Sleepy Joe Biden and Obama tried for several years.
01:35They couldn't do it.
01:35And look at me.
01:36I am President Trump, the ultimate dealmaker.
01:39I got this great, great commercial deal with India.
