Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh), June 19, 2025 (ANI): Taking a jibe at CM Chandrababu Naidu led TDP government in Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP president and former Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said, "At the central level, the NDA may have a lot to say, a lot to boast about, they may even have reasons to boast about, but as far as Andhra Pradesh and Chandrababu Naidu's governance is concerned, they have nothing to boast about. Every promise they made in their manifesto has turned out to be a lie...The whole system has collapsed in Andhra Pradesh, where corruption is at its peak. The 'Red Book' rule is also prevalent in Andhra Pradesh. Apart from this, there is nothing..."
00:00Cops lodge a complaint on any of our ministers or any of our MLAs. I seriously don't understand.
00:09Because this is a democratic country. In a democratic country, the leader of the opposition
00:17has every right to go visit anybody of his choice. And yesterday's visit was
00:26pertaining to our own party, the person's house whom I had visited, is our own party's upasarpanch.
00:39Our own party's upasarpanch. Vice president. Our own party's vice president's house I had visited.
00:47And that vice president passed away, rather committed suicide, due to police harassment.
00:54And his father filed a private complaint, asking for the CI who was responsible to be charge-sheeted.
01:04And he had a court verdict in his favor. In spite of that, the CI was not charged.
01:15So his father was feeling upset about it. And to that village, to visit his father, who was also
01:24organizing his son's statue to be put up in his own village, right beside his own house, in his own land.
01:34And I had gone to pay a visit to that person, who was grieved. What is wrong in it? It's our party, vice president, who passed away.
01:46And for that occasion, if I were to go, why should the cops not permit such going out?
01:54And why should the cops have any reservations on that? And why should our, for going there, why should our MLA or our ministers be charged?
02:05I think you don't understand. This is what I mean by red book rule.
02:11This is what I mean by red book rule. Democracy is gone for a tosh. Currently, what is prevalent is red book rule.
02:21Sir, one last question. TDP, NDA, all together, have been celebrating one year of their governance, as you say, on the attack. How do you take it?
02:29See, NDA might have, at the central level, might have a lot to say, a lot to boast about, for what probably, they have probably reasons to boast about.
02:42But as far as Andhra is concerned, Chandra Babu's regime is concerned, there is nothing to boast about.
02:48Every promise that has been mentioned in his own manifesto is proven to be a lie.
02:53And for someone who has not rendered a single promise fulfilled, out of the super six or super seven that he has promised himself,
03:04and every thing that has been promised has proven to be a lie, and where the plight of farmers, the plight of youngsters,
03:14the plight of every person living in poverty is at an abysmal low.
03:20The farmers are pissed off because they are not getting remunerative prices.
03:26The free insurance policy, which was in existence during our regime, has been removed.
03:31The timely input subsidy, which was coming before the end of the season, was also scrapped.
03:37And the production support, which was coming in through Rai to Barosa, in our regime, has also come to a halt.
03:49And the RBKs, which were very much running during our regime at the village level,
03:57hand-holding the farmer at every stage, has become dysfunctional.
04:00Similarly, the students are not getting fees re-investment.
04:04Every quarter where the fees re-investment was given during our regime,
04:09and now since January, that is Jan, Feb, March, which was supposed to have been given in April,
04:16and since then the election code has come in, and since that day till this day, this June, if it were to come,
04:22it will be six quarters, and every quarter where the fees re-investment was given then,
04:27now it has been six quarters where the fees re-investment dues are still pending.
04:32The boarding and lodging charges also, which were given to the students,
04:38starting every April, one installment is also left pending.
04:41And added to that, the plight of any poor going to the hospitals,
04:49where Aroge Shri bills, payable by the government to the network hospitals,
04:54which actually cost 300 crores every month,
04:57has been due for the past 12 months, which is 3,600 crores.
05:03And Aroge Ashera, which was also been given during our regime,
05:06which is another phone, it also stands due as of now.
05:09And today, nobody, no poor person, is in a position to go and claim Aroge Shri
05:17and take free treatment in a network hospital,
05:21because the network hospitals have so much of dues that they are not treating poor people.
05:26And during our regime, the Aroge Shri was taken up to 25 lakhs of free treatment.
05:331,000 procedures were increased to 3,300 procedures.
05:36During our regime, when there was so much of reform that took place in that area,
05:42then, has now taken a back seat now.
05:45See, tell me, where exactly are people happy?
05:49Everything is proven to be a false promise, everything is proven to be a broken promise,
05:54and the entire system is collapsed,
05:56where you have rampant corruption, which is prevalent in the state of Andhra Pradesh,
06:00and Red Book rule, which is intolerance towards the ruling party,
06:06or to anybody who raises their voice against the government,
06:10which is also prevalent in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
06:13Other than this, there is nothing there in Andhra Pradesh state.
