The Chief Secretary of Andhra Pradesh, Anil Chandra Punetha was transferred yesterday, a move which did not go down well with the Chief Minister of the state Chandrababu Naidu who has alleged political vendetta on the part of the centre. Naidu has claimed that the secretary was transferred without any reason and that the EC was harassing him and may even arrest him. Earlier yesterday, Naidu even sat on a Dharna in Vijayawada protesting the IT raids that took place against TDP leaders in the state. Remember, earlier this week the Chief Minister of Karnataka had sought intervention of the EC against the I-T raids against JDS workers in the state. DMK Supremo Stalin too had challenged the I-T dept to raid PM Modi's house after raids were conducted at DMK treasurer Dorai Murugan'e premises in Vellore.
