Jodhpur (Rajasthan) – In a bizarre attempt to evade arrest, history-sheeter Dayashankar Chavariya was caught by police while disguised as a woman.
To avoid detection, he wore a sari, blouse, and mangalsutra, and even waxed his hands and legs. He had been hiding in plain sight, signalling to police teams that "Dayashankar is not at home" whenever they came searching.
The Jodhpur police eventually saw through the act and arrested him.
