00:00So this is a three-phase project delivering a total of 236 new homes and 18 commercial units.
00:06We are currently in contract for phase one and phase two so phase one is delivering 119 new homes
00:13and four commercial units and phase two is delivering 57 new homes. Phase three which
00:19we're looking to get into contract in late late 26 early 27 will be delivering a further 60 new
00:25homes and 14 commercial units. I think it's quite amazing to see what's been achieved. This is my
00:30third visit here. I came here at the start of phase one and to see then later on how phase one was
00:35progressing when it was just three rows of bricks and now the houses are almost completely out of
00:40the ground and now on phase two and they're moving across to the mirror image of phase one
00:46and the progress is really great to see how much progress they've made in creating a new community
00:51for people to live in. I live just three or four streets over in that direction. I come here for
00:57my dentist, I come here for my vets for my cats, they're all vested in in this area but it really
01:03is important to stress that the homes are all for Maidstone residents, they're people on Maidstone's
01:10waiting list. We have far too many on our waiting list which is why we're building properties elsewhere
01:15keeping them actually in the Maidstone property holdings which is run and bought and maintained
01:20by the council so for local homes for local people and that's that's really important. That's what it's all about.
