00:00They've opened up very strong, so we've seen not many heavy feeder steers today,
00:04but it's opened up 20 to 30 cents stronger than on a fortnight or a month ago.
00:08And what's driving that price increase?
00:10I'd say there's limited supply of heavy cattle with the season through Victoria,
00:15so the feed'em lokes are near chasing a bit of weight.
00:19Very good news for some of the vendors who are going through pretty tough conditions.
00:24100% it's a reward for effort for those guys that have tried to keep those cattle
00:28going through to the best of their ability in the trying times.
00:32Absolutely, and do we think a lot of cattle will be going north today?
00:36Yeah, north's very strong, particularly on the start of the wainers.
00:38So Duncan Brown and a few of the boys are going quite strong for those more than orders,
00:43from Benalla up to Dubbo.
