To mark Thank a Teacher Day, we ask people in Birmingham if there was a teacher who made a real difference in their life - and what impact they had on them.
Transcript
00:00Oh, I like this question. So I've got two. I've got one from primary, one from secondary.
00:06I've got primary, Mr Mills. That was my year six teacher.
00:10Teachers are so impactful in children's life. I don't think people understand
00:14because we're there majority of the day.
00:17There was a guy when I was in college called Trevor.
00:21Trevor Britton, actually. I was in Bristol College then.
00:25And he did make a good impression on me.
00:30Really encouraged me to try and better myself.
00:36I can mention there was Mrs Warren from primary school.
00:42I was really close to Mrs Warren from my primary.
00:45She was just like, she really let me open up and got my confidence built up
00:50because I was like one of the shyest kids in school probably.
00:53But she made me feel so welcome.
00:57And I just, my confidence went up because of her.
