A major tragedy was averted at Chakia railway station in Bihar when a woman slipped while trying to board a moving train. In a split second, RPF jawan Jaiprakash Yadav sprang into action and pulled her away from the edge, saving her life.
The dramatic rescue, captured on CCTV, shows the woman losing balance and nearly falling onto the tracks. The quick reflexes and bravery of the jawan are being widely praised, and the video has since gone viral.
