00:00Despite the fact that people still want remote work, the opportunities are
00:05becoming fewer and further between. We'll see things like 9% of the roles that are
00:11available on LinkedIn are actual remote work roles. But here's the thing, 40% of
00:18the people who are applying for those jobs are applying for remote work first.
00:22There's a couple of ways that you can think about this. One is that if you want
00:26remote work, you're gonna have to really make a strong case for it and you're
00:31gonna have to be really strategic about how you find it. Doing things like
00:34looking at using LinkedIn's jobs filter, search by location because then it tells
00:41you in the drop-down whether or not it's hybrid or remote or where it's actually
00:46located. So that's a great way to identify remote work. The other thing is that
00:49you're gonna have to prove that you can actually do remote work really well. So
00:55on your LinkedIn profile or on your resume, put on there exactly how you've
01:01excelled in a remote environment. It's gonna be really important to be able to
01:05say, I had these impacts without being in the office. Finally, you may have to
01:10decide how important remote work is to you and what you're willing to sacrifice to
01:16get that remote work. There's a couple of industries that are probably a little bit
01:20more open to remote work. I think you've got to do your research and find those. I'll give
01:25you some cheat codes. Number one, think about professional services. They're more
01:29they're more amenable to remote work. Think about it like that. Finding those
01:34industries that hmm I think that they're more interested in that and you may find
01:41that those opportunities if you actually put it on your resume and put it on your
01:46LinkedIn profile. You'll get what you want.
