00:00and uh by the time we get to those last four rounds it's thick and fast at the end of the

00:04season so you want to have a little bit of momentum now going into the summer to give

00:07you that bit of extra confidence yeah go happy to the holidays as they're saying used to be

00:11in the early days as the riders line up on the grid ahead of 12 laps here at mizana world

00:17supersport 300 and there is your front row of the grid topping it as antonio torres from a maiden

00:22pole position venucci former race runner here in the middle of the front row and bena fernandez

00:27already a race winner in 2025 on the outside of the front row of the grid as the red lights come

00:33on the river rising and out they go it's a great start from the pole setter torres terrible start

00:38for the 48 of garcia he drops back towards the clutches of the top 10. here comes jeffrey bose

00:43on the ktm he's already through to fourth from seventh on the grid venucci is having a terrible

00:47start from second down to fifth on the number 91 yamaha but leading the way from pole position

00:52and it's the 47 the prudina kawasaki of antonio torres as we go in towards turn number four for

00:58the first time there's bena fernandez in second and then jeffrey bose from the third row of the

01:03grid already up to third base he's had some battling there that looks like it's with salvador

01:07who's come back through to third on prudina kawasaki yeah good start micarta constant to get himself up

01:11into seventh position on the number 50 kawasaki as well so we'll see what he can do on this opening couple of

01:16laps obviously in 300 racing the big thing is survive this opening lap yeah you have to try to

01:22make a move here as venucci sets up jeffrey bose that was a two for one job and towards turn at

01:27number eight uh that's so the number third the number 91 he's already up to fourth after what was a

01:32difficult start for the italian we'll see the difference the slipstream makes now as well you

01:36can see the front five had a little bit of a margin at one stage on this lap but once we get down this

01:41back straight everyone's going to just bring themselves back together yeah they will do indeed and leaning

01:45the way as antonio torres how much of a hole is he punching in the air for the rest of the riders

01:50it's a big one as they were losing some parts of body work potentially down the back straight

01:54and through comes salvador through comes bows and getting swallowed up as the number 47 is

01:59carter thompson from the fourth row of the great topped warm-up this morning he's already through to

02:04end to fourth on the number 50 mtm kawasaki but swooping right the outside is bengar from the handouts we've

02:10seen that so many times through that season but runs off the track coming through turn 14 so off the track

02:15close the kovi machine but onto the green you want to stay away from that because if you run onto

02:19two main teams you will get a warning continue that you will be offered uh penalty so try and stay away

02:25from the green as much as you can as you take off lap number one it's david salvador leading the way

02:29yeah at the front of the field jeffrey bowes there on the number six ktm it's actually a double long lap

02:34penalty for him so he's gonna drop right down the order when he takes those penalties he has to take them

02:38within the first five laps yeah we've seen their penalties in this class and uh if you if you have the pace you

02:42are able to come back through the pack so jeffrey bosio will be hoping to get that done very quickly

02:48very swiftly indeed as card of thompson tries to make a move on salvador salvador chops off the front

02:53of the 50 mtm kawasaki on the curb once again that is bengar fernandez he's losing even more positions

02:59on the kobe yeah got pushed out wide there with vannucci and uh for fernandez doesn't really end up

03:04impacting him that much he'll be able to give himself a chance to bring himself back in there as currently

03:08thompson the number 50 machine comes through on david salvador into turn eight and uh it looks

03:14like minucci's trying to follow through as well on torres yeah right i was looking for it was

03:18humberto meyer the number 12 he's dropped down to 21st from 16th on the grid so ready you would expect

03:23to see up here he's further down yeah for meyer started all the way down the field after losing

03:27one of his fast laps yesterday you can see there for jeffrey just taking the first of his long lap penalties

03:32and we'll see just how much time he actually loses drops down behind his teammate so he's down into about

03:3714th position though yeah that's yeah frozen tower just in front of hand and the postman rider for

03:43philip todd as the number 78 but we have a gap between the top five and then the kobe machine of

03:48fernandez has homeless contact between vannucci and torres torres comes back to carter thompson who has to

03:53set up and take avoid in action both are on the green and this is allowed salvador on the 38th to swoop up the

03:58inside into the third so it's already getting aggressive out there they're getting the elbows out and this is

04:03getting a little bit worse for wear already so towards the end of lap number two here we go

04:09vannucci leading the way your only race winner from the current crop of riders around here at lazana back

04:14in 2022 the number 91 leads the way you can tell that he likes this place because he's qualified on

04:19the front row of the grid and second as we watch benya fernandez he's making a move oh now it's osuna on

04:24the number 77 kawasaki round the outside though that's a fernandez line usually as magera so magera

04:30who's started all the way down the field he's already up into eight spots a great right there

04:35from magera fastest lap of the race from the number 88.

04:41so lap number three and towards turn number four watching jeffrey bose and of course

04:45rosenthala set each other up to turn number four the ktms are getting his elbows out and jeffrey

04:50bose has already served one of his long lap penalties is already making his way through yeah yeah

04:54served the next in a couple of corners time and then we'll see just how much work he has to do

04:58obviously for jeffrey he has to think in terms of lap eight being two-thirds race distance and that's

05:02the important point where if there's a red flag full points are awarded so he needs to take the

05:06penalties as early as possible to give yourself as many laps as possible to claw your way back to the

05:11lead of this group you're just getting a confirmation of a jump start from munyot a little bit further

05:15back so he'll be serving a long lap penalty as well jeffrey bose almost running off the the

05:20white line there if you run over the white line he will have to reserve that long lap penalty

05:24as he just knocks over one of the bollards with his knees he comes around the long lap

05:28penalty loop and he's getting his elbows out already as jeffrey bose and he has to because

05:31further back that he really needs to get his uh work cut out now yeah he's there with vish so that's

05:36down in about 18th position there for yeah so 17th place has just been confirmed for jeffrey bose

05:42however we have seen many a times in the past that riders that have been able to serve double long lap

05:47help just have been able to come through if they have the pace bumping and boring into turn 14 that's

05:52bernucci that's been shuffled out white he comes across the 77 of osuna thankfully no contact there

05:57but at the front it's a prudina kawasaki one two three with garcia running it onto the green the third

06:03of the prudina kawasaki's as a tick off another lap lap number three done and dusted it is torres leaving

06:09away from david salvador who's about to make a move in towards turn number one will they make it stick yes he will

06:15chops across the front of torres don't think torres will like that and here comes garcia

06:19vannucci once again and osuna and sec almost tagging the back of gaggi so gaggi looking for his first

06:25podium in two years as well so he's just on the fringes of the podium but this is a great scrap as

06:30card of thompson the number 50 there with the black helmet the green kawasaki he's been shuffled back along

06:35with fernandez yeah and both those riders need to just find a way to get themselves back into the top

06:41five positions if you're able to do that in 300 you'll always give yourself that chance in those

06:45final laps of being able to fight for the race win but the prudina kawasaki's doing a really good job

06:49there at the front of the field the three yellow kawasaki's but it's vannucci on the yamaha that

06:53comes from fourth to first saying that back straight great move there from vannucci on the number 91 you

06:58can tell he's had his wita pics this morning he wants this one and he wants to become the only rider to

07:03continue uh winning streak around at this mizano circuit david salvador makes a move so far the back the

07:08cove machine the number seven of fernandez making a couple positions and towards turn number 10 as

07:13we've now power down the back straight and vannucci on the number 91 is punching a back hole in the air

07:18as he almost runs in the grass a little bit of uh lawnmower cutting down the back straight and it's

07:23david salvador once again here comes gaggi that's very close between gaggi and 47 of torres elbow to elbow

07:28stuff has come through carvoni and carter thompson he's made up even more positions using that slipstream to

07:34great effect so towards turn number 14 we go up vannucci and that's uh actually that was so soon

07:41actually well spotted there steve he's up the inside of carter thompson so that's a swap of positions

07:46between two green kawasaki's but the kawasaki's are still chasing as the yellow ones and that's a big move

07:52there from salvador and his teammate garcia garcia won't like that one so the 38 already back up into

07:56second yeah they had a bit of beef yesterday during the super bowl session as well so garcia's not going to

08:01enjoy that one but uh doing what he has to do at this stage keeping yourself in those top three

08:05positions just to always have that little bit of a margin we're just at one third race distance

08:10yeah it was some fantastic action between the prudina kawasaki's and qualifying yesterday each

08:15giving each other the daggers and the super pole looking further back to the championship leader

08:20jeffrey bowes he's moved up to 12th now after serving these double long lap penalties so he came out

08:25in 17th he's already made up five spots in a lap and a half so good progress

08:29for the number six on the ktm however the world would be wanting to make a bit more progress

08:34because at the front it looks like vinnucci's just stretching the legs of that yamaha ever so slightly

08:38up towards three tenths of a second however that's getting swallowed up as you go down the back

08:42straight just for jeffrey as well it's only the race leader vinnucci that's faster than him on the

08:46track right now that's why he's making this progress through and danny mcgeta that's going to be up

08:49into the top 10 now for jeffrey bowes our championship leader seven and a half laps remaining here at

08:54missano world circuit marco seven cello race number one for world super sport 300 action is

08:58carter thompson he makes another move up the inside at turn 10 and it doesn't run a little bit deep so

09:04it might just to hold that that's a great effort there from the 50 off with the black helmet the

09:08mtm kawasaki and vinnucci isn't getting swallowed up as much as he did last lap because then a bit more

09:13of a margin however as you come into carvoni elbow to elbow side by side he gets swallowed up by

09:18everyone four kawasaki's come steaming around the outside he manages to hold off torres and he tries

09:23to go around the outside of carter thompson you have to wake up early if you want to go around

09:26the outside of carter thompson and he's done that but almost tags the back of david salvador

09:31and to turn 14 so takes avoiding action does vinnucci yeah you can see here jeffrey goes very much in the

09:36thick of things as well looks like we've got uh probably 14 bikes have broken away there so almost all of

09:42our point scoring riders in their own group now in the 14 season like 28 to be honest

09:46in world supersport 300 but uh back at the front seven laps to go it was garcia leading the way

09:52however you can imagine it's going to be swallowed up as carter thompson he finds his way to the

09:55front for the first time in this race and just holds out david salvador around the outside salvador

10:01tried to hang around the outside the best he could but had to give way to carter thompson who just

10:05sets the fastest lap of the race at 149.415 for the mtm kawasaki here comes fernandez fernandez

10:13he's been keeping his powder dry a little bit in this race we usually see him at the sharp end

10:18off the field we do know that he has the pace considering the fact that he did set his fastest

10:22lap in qualifying yesterday before sitting in the pits for a good 15 minutes or so uh so he was a very

10:27confident rider as benyat fernandez for the time being on that kovi machine number seven yeah just uh

10:33making his moves when he can and at this stage the race you don't really need to try and make anything

10:38too special you just have to keep yourself out of trouble as uh we move towards half distance yeah

10:43half distance but there's two thirds of his distance we will have to keep an eye on because

10:46if a red flag comes out after that the results will be declared full points awarded as we look further

10:52down the order and felix mulia the indonesian rider number 27 he's making a bit of progress he's in

10:57this group as well and we've seen him a couple of times feature towards the front of the group before

11:02he eventually slips further back so hopefully on this occasion he can go forward rather than

11:06backwards however it's all change at the front gaggi on the 43 he comes up the inside elbow to elbow

11:11with torres and here goes fernandez around the outside very brave to ride around the outside he's

11:15now in the green because he had nowhere else to go venucci's in the mix as well and jeffrey bose

11:20he's now in front of his teammate jacket rosenthaler so he's the first of the ktms in the middle of

11:24the shot he is now inside the top 10 with jeffrey bose a great recovery from the two-time champion yeah and

11:30we'll see what the lap times are when they come across the line everyone in the 49s in that league

11:33group yes in the last lap and everyone just finding a little bit more space out there at the

11:39front of the field you can see it starting to just split up ever so slightly yeah we just saw

11:42torres running off off the curb at the final corner that's allowed fernandez and osuna to

11:48come around to his head as has jeffrey bose so your pole setter is getting beaten up a little

11:52bit and doing some beating up just behind that's jacob rosenthaler on jenai so jenai who has been

11:57looking for a big result of late a lot of luck has not gone his way and it looks like he's not

12:02getting any luck from jacob rosenthaler who has had a bit of form around misano and the junior gp

12:07class a he has come to grief with a few of his teammates in the past and say that the team

12:12um around misano and junior gp so yeah just in the top of the shot looked like

12:18merco and the number 26 machine just ran out wide through six and it also forced a few riders just to

12:23sit up with rosenthaler one of them yeah it looks like it's now split this group into a group of nine

12:27or ten at the front with the the riders further back jenai just splitting that group up a little

12:32bit with rosenthaler detached a little bit so torres and ninth he is on the back of this group but

12:36here comes fernandez he was just taking it easy not taking it easy into turn ten sets up carter

12:42thompson sends him to the car park route and that allows not one but two riders potentially to come

12:48through on the australian rider but there's a gap progression came out of his long lap held to

12:52look in 16 and he's already made it up inside the top eight as we have seven eight abreast through

12:58carvoni it's all going to end in tears you hope not but here comes marco gadgi gadgi leads the way

13:03for the first time on the number 43 and towards turn 14 we go the latest of the late breakers the

13:08slowest corner on the circuit this is where we could see some upsets on the final lap of the race but

13:14thankfully everyone is through for the time being but it is marco gadgi leading the way chasing his

13:19first podium since portamao 2023 and he is of course to do that however as he comes across line

13:26leading the way he will be punching a hole in the air for the riders behind and which is led by

13:30garcia and salvador salvador we know he likes to chop across the front of somebody into this corner

13:35doesn't matter to make a statement so it's garcia the leads away from david salvador here comes aso

13:40suda almost tagging the side of benyat fernandez so fernandez all didn't realize how close it came

13:47to disaster there on the kovi machine yeah a couple of riders as well in this group that

13:51haven't been able to put in a fast lap time obviously important to be able to put in one of the nine

13:55fastest laps that would be top three rows of the grid for tomorrow's race benyat fernandez is one

14:00of those merco janai david salvador they're all due to qualify down the field for tomorrow's race

14:06right now it's carter thompson jeffrey bowles and mateo vannucci on that provisional front goal

14:10of the grid yes something's ready as you've just mentioned really do have to get the finger out

14:13and find a good lap time as well i know they all just think about the race victory but you have to

14:18think about the lap time for tomorrow and that great position for race number two look like

14:23antonio torres at the back of that group just ran wide again yeah not a good ride for antonio torres we

14:28had so much promise for him as now fernandez is making his move now he's carving his way through the pack

14:34he's up to second now he's just behind garcia who would be taking back the lead of the championship

14:39if it remains as is we'll be taking that by six points over benyat fernandez who's now in second

14:45spot however it is all changing with four and a bit laps to go it's all change at the front as we see

14:50and jeffrey bowles he's now in the pack he's up to fourth already as vannucci tries to go around the

14:55outside just saying that group as well benyat fernandez was second heading down towards curavone

14:59he's now dropped down to what looks about fifth position there so just trying to see where you

15:04need to place yourself maybe being in that third position looks like it's probably the optimum spot

15:08leaving turn 10. yeah they're all going to be fighting you may see some strategy going in towards

15:13turn number 10 in the final lap with maybe some riders setting up and trying not to lead going on

15:17to the back straight fingers crossed they don't do that we want to see some good clean racing

15:21and the final four laps of the world super sport 300 we're past two-thirds race distance now obviously

15:26important at this stage for the riders now to fight for their positions and jeffrey bowes trying

15:31to come through benyat fernandez fernandez though he's standing firm yeah he has indeed good stuff

15:35there from benyat fernandez he does like to find as many lanes as he can possibly use does at the number

15:41seven the 17 year old from spain running that number seven in honor of his mentor efren vasquez the

15:47multiple multiple three race winner and catching fernandez side by side how many corners can you get

15:52side by side without any contact three i think that was the count there some very good stuff

15:57between gaggi and fernandez however this is just split the pack up ever so slightly and i like the

16:02top three to get away however as the back straight comes to a close have all caught back up and here

16:06comes david salvador vannucci gets sat up by garcia so aggressive stuff from garcia who is very happy to

16:12lead the way at the front and happy to punch that hole in the air so sometimes the best place to be in a

16:18pack like this when everything is getting a little bit too scrappy is at the front where it's safe let's

16:22have a look now vannucci's in third fernandez is in fourth as they head down the back straight

16:27and then it looks like carla thompson would have been in p5 let's see what way the order is by the

16:31time they come out of turn 14. yeah david garcia is trying to go all defensive however that seems to

16:37have worked quite well as vannucci and everyone's going off the track there that's david salvador has

16:41gone the car park route out there and this is just allowing all the riders behind to catch back up

16:46once again we're going to have a big group of riders it could be a good 15 16 maybe more up

16:50towards 20. yeah fernandez went forward to second just seeing as well he's got a track limit warning

16:55so uh important for the number seven machine now to keep it firmly between the white lines yeah you're

17:00gonna have to watch out for the number seven fernandez with three laps to go as they come across the line

17:05after the final corner and it's gadju leading the way chasing his maiden victory in the class there is

17:10confirmation of the track limits warning for benyat fernandez so we could see potential a lot more of

17:15these warnings coming through in the final three laps as vannucci aggressive as ever dives for the apex

17:20up towards second and garcia oh that was david salvador actually almost tagging the back

17:26of fernandez as jeffrey bose he's now starting to get his elbows out the two-time champion 17

17:31time race winner in the class he started to make his way through to front here comes torres as well

17:35your pole setter who's mired in the pack he's now starting to make a play potentially for the top five

17:42we'll have to keep an eye on potentially meyer meyer's looking at the 16th so right of the

17:46is quite aggressive and we have seen that featuring at the front he's still all the way outside of the

17:50points you would expect to see him potentially come through the pack even if he is in 16th because it

17:55can all change and has changed once again with gadju leading the way and there we go track limits

17:59warning for the vannucci now it's interesting though to see it with uh vannucci up there in the

18:04the lead of this race up in p2 now when gadju comes through he's been always in those top five

18:08positions fernandez over the course the last three or four laps has put himself into those leading

18:13positions as well jeffrey bose obviously after his penalty he's tried to bring himself back to the

18:18four and then the likes of the protein and kawasaki staying up there as well so those riders look like

18:23the ones that have the most comfort to stay at the front but there's not going to be an awful lot that's

18:28comfortable in the final couple of laps i can't imagine with any plan going on between any of these

18:32riders you're just sorry i've got pick your moment pick your spot and hope for the best

18:36in this battle as vannucci once again he goes for the inside on david salvador makes the stick and

18:41torres he's now coming through so torres your pole sitter he was inside or just outside the top 10

18:46a moment ago he's already up to fourth a bit of contact there with jeffrey bose has felt the

18:50votney confirmation he went down to turn 10 just before the back straight so with two laps to go

18:55and is mateo vannucci the only winner in the class here at missano who continues to lead the way ahead

19:01of david salvador so two laps to go here at missano world circuit marco simoncelli world super sport

19:06300 race number one david salvador goes for the inside but vannucci just lets off the brakes

19:10rolls around the outside and he stays in front and here comes jeffrey bose on torres no love lost

19:15between those two and contact again between 47 and the six of torres and bose and bose once again

19:21is a big loser in that one he's lost two positions to fernandez and garcia just behind just keep an eye on

19:28that yellow flag notification as well that's down to turn 10 obviously you won't be able to

19:31make an overtake move into turn 10 if the yellows are still out yeah so hopefully that can get

19:36cleared up very quickly we did see that the the bike was picked up in the gravel trap by the marshals

19:41as the yellow flag has now gone completely so racing is on oh contact there between salvador and

19:46vannucci salvador cut across the front of vannucci that was a bit naughty there from david salvador

19:51but great skill there from vannucci to stay on the machine this is now getting a bit aggressive and i've got my

19:57eyes closed a little bit because i don't see any of these riders colliding so turn 10 we go the

20:03yellow flags are now in from the crash of lapago and here's the big one now this is down the back

20:08straight this is the chance to do your trial run for the last lap and again you can see vannucci third

20:12position we've seen him in third position leaving turn 10 a few times now fernandez fourth position

20:16again he's been able to follow vannucci for a few laps and gadget around here say did he go in the green yes

20:20he did so did vannucci he's already on a warning and i think i think fernandez was on the green as well

20:26who's already on a warning so potential pentas coming away for those two so vannucci that was not

20:30good for him as fernandez as we've seen so many times randy as i said but loses the front ever so

20:35slightly it's getting someone's down at the back they're not quite sure who that was but uh maybe

20:40maybe it looked like to me but uh further down that order obviously we're looking at the leaders that's

20:45where the focus is going to be into the last lap just over four kilometers to go it's all going to go

20:49down to the last four or five hundred meters yes anyone's game in this one the final lap here

20:54oh world supersport 300 marco gadju leads away but here comes salvador and vannucci they've already

21:00come to blows already half a lap ago fernandez he dives for the apex sets up garcia thankfully all

21:06all the riders are through this time this time being let's see what jeffrey bose can do in the last

21:10lap he dropped down to p9 there so the championship leader needs to find something now in this last lap

21:14yeah he's a big one there for the number six of the ktm you saw him trying to make a move into turn at number

21:18four torres now has a warning he's in seventh spot so we've got some big riders in this leading

21:24group already on track limit warnings as marco gadju chasing his first victory in world supersport 300

21:31on the number 43 leads the way but he won't be leading for long because here comes david salvador

21:36and towards turn eight here comes fernandez bit of a bobble there pushes out for nucci and

21:40carter thompson could be picking up all the pieces here on mtm kabasaki and we've seen it already to in the last

21:46few laps being in that third position seems like it's the optimum spot carter thompson might well

21:50come into turn 10 in about that third spot on the exit that seems to be the sweet spot he's moved

21:56up into second it's benyat fernandez up there in third you can see david salvador trying to open up

22:00bit of a gap he's not going to break away he's not indeed and as we go down towards carvoni for the

22:05final time swooping around the outside is carter thompson he may have this timed this to perfection

22:09has the australian rider he is chasing his first victory in the class as marco gadju and david salvador

22:15almost comfortable it's finnucci and fernandez round the outside but this could be carter thompson

22:20the number 50 on the mtm kawasaki only two more corners to go after this right-hander it's all

22:26bumping and boring further back however carter thompson may have just timed this to absolute

22:30perfection the mtm kawasaki the number 50 carter thompson one more corner to go he's got about a

22:36three big length advantage over marco gadju he runs off the cap as long as he doesn't run on the green

22:41he's absolutely okay across the line it is carter thompson for his first victory in world super

22:47sport 300 the australian rider has finally done it what a ride and he's timed it to perfection on the

22:54final lap used the slipstream from david salvador to great effect swooped around the outside at

23:00carvoni and never looked back and he takes a maiden victory in the class from marco gadju who's back on the

23:07podium for the first time since portamao 23 and garcia he runs out the podium and he will take back

23:14the championship lead from jeffrey bodes who finishes all the way down in ninth spot with fernandez

23:21one spot behind garcia and fourth but what a ride there you cannot give the plot it's enough

23:27to carter thompson who takes as we see confirmation first win in world super sport 300 first race win for

23:34an australian super sport 300 as well carter's a rider with a big future dame mccudlin the ex-moto gp

23:39rider world endurance rider very experienced he's taken carter under his wing over the last four or

23:44five years and this is the reward for that star rider program as well and for carter we've seen him

23:50in the red bull rookies cup we saw him whenever he came to most last year immediately able to challenge

23:54for race victories and nice to be able to see him finally get that first win third podium in the 300

24:00class but his first race victory and uh we'll obviously have to wait and see for how everything

24:05shakes out in the last lap we saw carter running out towards that exit curb but we'll have to wait

24:11and see where he actually ended up on that last lap but uh super stuff regardless for carter thompson

24:17and uh i thought it looked he was okay on the last lap but we'll wait for the full confirmation of

24:22the results to come through yeah we will have to wait as we did in moss last time i just had to wait

24:26until the very very end however carter thompson after most was being a difficult race for him

24:31or round for him he did take four top six finishes in the first four races before most was a little

24:38bit difficult but he's bounced back in emphatic fashion with victory here provisionally at the

24:44time being but we think he might be okay after running off track at the final corner because he

25:11lead back once again great stuff for carter as well red bull rookies rider this year again and a race

25:17winner at horeth earlier this season and now a race winner at world championship level as well and this is the

25:23the benefit of having riders come in to do a year in the super sport 300 world championship as well

25:28at 17 years of age you get the chance to come here before you can go to the motor 3 world championship

25:33which is obviously the target for carter he's always said that that's where the the rookies cup

25:38experience comes in but uh for him he also knows that this is a chance to win races challenge for a

25:44world championship and uh you have to say a great effort by him yeah as indeed and you can imagine he'll

25:50jump right up the order with that victory a protege of the asia talent cup is carter thompson a podium

25:56finish and a race winner there as well in previous years before stepping over to the red bull rookies

26:00cup and of course halfway through last year jumping into world super sport 300 his first full season

26:06we have to remember in 2025 in the class and he's already a race winner round number four the seventh race

26:13of the season and what a star in the making is carter thompson from australia it's a really good season

26:20so far in the 300 class this is the fourth different race winner that we've had and we're only at the

26:24fourth round of the season and uh obviously like i said earlier on we'll take a big gap until the next

26:29round at magni core we've got the wcr back over the course of the summer but uh for the likes of carter

26:35thompson obviously this gives you a lot of momentum going into tomorrow and then into that summer break

26:39when he'll be in rookies cup action yeah i feel like he's been a little bit lucky in the final laps

26:43as of late as carter thompson maybe just been shuffled out a little bit but this time he was

26:47well placed and took the victory so that will give him confidence going into tomorrow and great

26:52confidence for marco gaggi as well on the number 43 he tries to get everybody along victory lane a

26:58high five and almost falls off the bike but for marco gaggi great to see him back on the podium

27:03since portamao 2023 and that's a big result for gaggi who has been a star performer

27:08so far this weekend finished yesterday's tesso super pole and fifth and converted that into

27:14podium just missing out on his first victory but you'll have another bite at the cherry here tomorrow

27:20for race number two which will come up at 315 local time so as we see the results it is thompson

27:32and jeffrey bose who was your championship leader coming into this race but for the first time this season

27:38when he's not one he has finally finished somewhere else just uh looking at the championship as well

27:43obviously for julio garcia he's been on that long run of point scoring finishes but for him championship

27:48leader now by four points from bernia fernandez fernandez able to come away with another top five

27:54finish to keep that run going for him as well it's been a very consistent starts the campaign for him

27:58it has been great campaign for him for david salvador as well very consistent i think that's a five top or

28:04six top fives in the last six races for david salvador now so he's really is putting in that

28:08consistent challenge however he does need to start picking up more podiums and victories if he wants

28:13to meet that challenge just as carder thompson has now done and number nine to one exceeding track

28:18limits on the final lap three second penalty for vannucci who did have that track limits warning

28:24with two laps to go so that has dropped vannucci all the way down from the leading group and i think he's

28:29now he said the points yes he has he just missed out on the points in 16th so that is a disappointment

28:33there for vannucci who did have the pace to fight for victory and for the podium here today and that

28:39promotes meyer who's had quite the difficult weekend up to 15th and he gets one solitary point for his

28:44effort here today so confirmation of your championship standings 113 points goes away of garcia four points

28:51now ahead of benyat fernandez they're joined at the hip are those two and five points further back

28:56is jeffrey bose so the top three are just as close as they were coming into today's race however they've

29:02all switched the positions around with bose going from first to third fernandez moving from the third

29:07to second and garcia going from one place or going from second up one place into the lead of the

29:13championship it's great to see mirko jenai there who has come to congratulate his teammate sporting very

29:21blonde here is mirko jenai you wouldn't want you wouldn't miss him from a mile away with the number

29:2726 mtm kawasaki rider as a he's about to celebrate with carder thompson his first victory in the class

29:35and you can expect there might be a couple more to come as the season progresses but first of all

29:47you are the new championship leader not about race one for you yeah the race is really difficult

29:52because the track is really hot um yeah i try again uh it's another podium is good i work uh for

30:00tomorrow i improve in the warm-up um yeah i'm super happy because uh my team i work really really good

30:08is fantastic and yeah we'll see tomorrow well done congratulations yeah we've heard that all day

30:14today it's very warm out there on the circuit for all of the riders there and especially with the

30:19amount of elbow to elbow action we had you can imagine that the the senses were heightened and the

30:25temperatures were raised inside those leathers and underneath that helmet but for julio garcia on

30:31the number 48 just like he did in most after his first victory of the season he moves into the summit of

30:37the championship here for world supersport 300 heading into race number two on sunday coming up at

30:433 15 local time and we're about to hear from marco gadji who's back on the podium again for the first

30:51time since 2023 and look at that finish peña fernandez and of course julio garcia we saw this in

30:57moss but that was for the race victory it close it was a photo finish between those two it was for the championship lead as well it was indeed yes good point

31:05point ben ya fernandez is now four points behind julio garcia so big so small differences across the

31:11lane can make big changes in the championship and for julio garcia he is the one that comes out on top

31:16and both as we're about to hear from a very happy marco gadji waves to the fans for the first time since

31:23portomal 23 he's back on the podium marco second position at home your first podium since 2023 how do you feel

31:30yes it's a long time that i don't come here it's very beautiful and i'm very happy because doing a

31:36podium at home with all my people coming here to see me it's very it's very very nice i'm feeling very

31:44good in the race i'm happy 95 percent because i was there i was thinking that winning is possible

31:52and it's possible today so i will try again tomorrow enjoy it congratulations thank you

31:59only 95 happy well from that smile it looked like he was 100 happy but

32:04i mean he'll be chasing after that extra five percent tomorrow on race number two by going up

32:08one position on the podium to top spot in front of the home fans but he put in a great effort in

32:14a very clever ride from marco gaggi we did see in a couple of occasions he was happy just to lead

32:18the race just to stay away from what was happening behind when there was quite a bit of bumping and

32:23boring a little bit further back and sometimes the best place to be is at the front so even if you

32:28are swallowed up a little bit you are you might stay out of a lot of the action a little bit further

32:33back where you could get caught up in an incident but managing to use the slipstream effect and staying

32:39out of trouble to take his first victory of the season and his first victory in world super sport 300

32:44and as the australian carter thompson carter thompson you are a world super sport 300 race winner

32:50how that it sounds to you yeah it's a great feeling um definitely the team have put a lot of effort in

32:56this season to help us get to this point so yeah not have been an easy one so far but very happy with

33:01the progress well deserved congratulations thank you we did see at the top of the show watch out for

33:07carter thompson as he topped morning warm-up today so he managed to translate that into good effect

33:12from the top of morning warm-up started 10th on the grid after the tiso superpole but came through

33:18and used the slipstream effect from david salvador who had a couple of big lengths advantage going down

33:22the backstreet and towards carvoni and that hole in the air was used to great effect from carter thompson

33:28who managed to swoop around the outside bravely at carvoni and that just gave him a big length or two

33:33ahead of the rest of the pack that he didn't come under any threat through the final couple of

33:38corners yeah another race victory there for the mtm kawasaki and another rider that they've been able

33:43to bring through to have that success obviously over the course of the last years they really have been

33:47the top team in this class and good for them that they're going to have that pole position as well with

33:52carter setting the fastest lap at around about one third distance jeffrey bowe's up there their former

33:56rider and former world champion on the front row of the grid with mateo vannucci up there as well vannucci

34:01obviously with that penalty dropped down in the order it was actually a strong race for him but

34:05it's a very obvious penalty on that last lap it was indeed and he will learn from that and come back

34:09stronger tomorrow it was a great effort from vannucci and it gave us a lot of entertainment did the

34:14italian so the rider that came into this race as the only victor here in muzzano he now has been

34:19joined by carter thompson as we look at the pirelli best lap awards and hulu garcia david salvador

34:25benyat fernandez all on two and carter thompson he now adds his name with one here today and we have

34:30seen it over the previous three rounds whoever says the best lap in race one tends to go on to

34:36set it in race number two as well so carter thompson he doesn't want to let the club down the pirelli best

34:41lap award club so he'll be hoping to take that best lap award tomorrow also as we get ready for the podium

34:49and it's julio garcia now at the summit of the championship 113 points for the spanish rider four

34:56points ahead of his fellow countryman benyat fernandez who just missed out on the podium

35:00and then it's marco gadge who returns to the podium for the first time since 2023 but the biggest cheer

35:05goes the way of carter thompson who steps onto the top step of the podium for the first time in world

35:11super sport 300 and you can imagine it could be the first of many many more in 2025 as he now will have

35:18the confidence to set his sights for the championship in 2025 as we now hand over the trophies

35:27to the top three julio garcia the first one to receive it another podium in the bank for julio

35:32garcia that is the fifth of the season for the spanish rider he has had a worst result of 11th however

35:38that was an outlier and what has been a great season marco gadge has four points finishes on the

35:45bounce and the best result of the season and he's finished inside the top eight in every single

35:49race but back on the podium for the first time since 2023 he'll be helping to go one better tomorrow

35:54however he will have to wrestle that top spot off your maiden victor and world super sport 300 he

36:01gets the biggest prize handed over to him by the fm representative giovanni coppoli and for carter

36:07thompson for the first time we will hear the australian national anthem reign supreme for carter thompson here

36:12at mizano and you can imagine there'll be many many more to come

36:18team principal of the mtm kawasaki is of course going to receive the trophy for the team the team

36:26representative and of course the team they've had lots of success and standing on top of the podium

36:32alongside carter thompson once again and another rider they have in the ranks as a race winner and of

36:37course gives a big hug to carter thompson carter thompson isn't a short rider is quite tall indeed

36:42but next team boss is very short indeed so for the first time in 2025 we're about to hear the
