Ahmedabad ( Gujarat ), June 14, 2025 ( ANI) : Professor of Surgery at BJ Medical College, Dr Rajnish Patel informed that DNA results of six Ahmedabad plane crash victims were out, and that bodies were to be handed over to the families. "The results of six passengers have come out. Their families have been informed. Out of them, the families of two of the deceased have arrived here to collect the mortal remains... Almost all the injured patients have been discharged. Only seven to eight injured remain in the hospital. Out of them, one is critically injured”, he said . Furthermore, he also informed that the “sole person who survived the crash was safe and stable”. “He can stay here for as long as he wants. He will be discharged once he is completely healthy... DNA matching usually takes up to 72 hours. But imagine that we have to cross-match more than 240 people. So it will take some time", Dr Rajnish Patel said in a statement.
