New Delhi June 14, 2025 (ANI): Chairperson of the Delhi Hajj Committee, Kausar Jahan, welcomed 51 women pilgrims returning from Hajj without a mahram at IGI Airport. She praised their journey as a symbol of women’s empowerment, attributing the growing number of such pilgrims to government support and Prime Minister Modi’s mission to empower women. On women Hajj pilgrims arriving at the airport, Chairperson of Delhi Haj Committee, Kausar Jahan said, "Our 51 sisters are returning after completing the Hajj journey without their mahram. I wholeheartedly congratulate them, and my entire team is present at the IGI Airport to welcome them. This is a great example of women's empowerment. Our Prime Minister’s mission has always been to empower women. The government supports them, and because of that, the number of such women pilgrims is increasing every year."
