00:00I headed along to Murrayfield Ice Arena to speak to local tribute band Definitely Oasis about returning to their old haunt to play gigs before the massive Oasis shows at Murrayfield Stadium.
00:11Unbelievable, surreal, obviously I used to come ice skating here when I was 13, 12, 13, 14, back in the 90s so it's very surreal. I know the place really well and it's even more surreal that it's next door to what's happening with Oasis there.
00:29So aye, very buzzing, buzzing to be here and to do this. Mad for it? Mad for it, yeah, proper mad for it that man.
00:38I also asked the Livingston based tribute act how it feels to play their heroes every night in front of adoring fans across the world.
00:47Again, it's quite surreal at times. The crowds, especially when they get into it. It's Oasis music. People love it. We love hearing it. We love what we do. We get this amazing opportunity to travel all over the world basically. Playing songs that people love.
01:09Do you know what I mean? It's just an unbelievable thing. We're really lucky and grateful that we've got the opportunity to do it.
01:18And what does Noel think about being in Definitely Oasis?
01:22Just playing songs that we love as well. It's one of the perks. You know, actually genuine fans of the band. We love them, grew up on them. So to be able to play the tunes, enjoy the tunes, have great gigs with great musicians. It's brilliant fun.
01:38It's brilliant fun.
