00:03Now, this is more video of the moment the plane took off and came down.

00:07And again, a warning, you may find these pictures distressing.

00:11Let's show you these new images that we have, though, of CCTV of the plane.

00:21And you can see the plane in the top right-hand corner of the image.

00:30So, let's see.

01:00Well, they don't need any commentary, do they, these images?

01:07They're just absolutely awful.

01:09But it also really illustrates, Paul, the speed that this happened.

01:14I mean, that plane literally took off and 20 seconds later it comes down virtually.

01:19It just got no height at all.

01:23You can see quite clearly from these pictures, can't you?

01:25Yeah.

01:26And it's, that clip we've run is less than a minute long in real time.

01:30And it emphasises, I think, the commentary we heard from a previous guest,

01:39the phrase that struck me, the plane needs two things to take off.

01:42It needs speed and it needs a lift.

01:44And this plane had neither.

01:45And we can see that illustrated in the footage.

01:48Take off speed around 160 miles an hour, but momentum clearly lost decisively and tragically.

01:57And it is, having seen those images, all the more remarkable that anyone may have survived, much less walked away.

02:08But chief executive of Air India says there are survivors and they've been taken to hospital.
