00:00tonight it's uh it's the oilers and panthers game four in sunrise and i've been talking about it

00:07today and uh you know with my son and stuff i'm like i'm going for it so i was on the panthers

00:27die tonight they either win or i'm telling you you know as well as i do they're finished

00:32i agree with you this is an absolutely positively must win hockey game uh tonight they can't be

00:37down three one to this florida team they learned you know you figure you hope that they learned

00:42their lesson from last year let's not overreact it's easy to overreact whenever there's a beat

00:47down in a playoff game and all the series is over now oklahoma city you're done right like

00:51there's always going to be that overreaction after you see a team lose but the edmonton oilers guys

00:57have been incredibly resilient a bouncing back after losses uh now they're coming off of two

01:02straight losses and how about this as far as skinner is concerned and this is the oilers in game

01:07fours so uh steward skinner uh career stats game fours record six and oh goals against 1.26 save

01:15percentage 9.55 shutouts too this has been their spot this is game fours have been that that turning

01:24point for the edmonton oilers we talked about it scott connor mcdavid and leon dry side will have

01:29to be a lot better obviously there were no shows in game three right they buzzed around on the early

01:34power play and it's funny how looks can be deceptive because right the oilers power play looked good

01:38early and it hadn't in the series they were buzzing around it was like oh they're flying around here okay

01:43they're engaged and then mcdavid i don't know i didn't notice him and and and the only time i noticed

01:49him when he turned the puck over and dry sidle i don't even know if he played the rest of the game

01:53like he was absent he just sort of disappeared they've got a chip on their shoulder and scott you

01:59know like they played like you know like 1037 games or something stupid together i saw the stat the

02:04other day it's only happened like three times and neither of them had a point like like they're mad

02:11unbelievable yeah no like they're mad mad and mcdavid this guy's got fire in his eye scott and

02:16he said we haven't played our best hockey yet and they just sort of paused and he said it's coming

02:22like this is it the series is on the line right this is it tonight i expected um there were some

02:29people that uh were trying to start the the sniff that um that pickard was gonna go that he was gonna

02:37actually uh pull skinner for this game since he pulled him in the last game when they were getting

02:44their ass beat pickard gave up one goal in his work but he was pretty decent do you think there's

02:49any truth to any of that no i don't not after going over these numbers listen um skinner hasn't been

02:58perfect in this series but listen the the game three loss guys they didn't lose because of skinner

03:04they were terrible everybody was terrible guys they had the fourth most penalty minutes in the history

03:09of the stanley cup fight yeah i agree like you know i mean skinner's been their guy he's gotten

03:14them here they all played horribly skinner's been very good at bouncing back and especially on the

03:21road as well so this is the spot for them right listen if skinner implodes tonight there could be a

03:26short leash i don't see it happening i think skinner's gonna play well and this is skinner's

03:31crease from here on out right now now listen if they lose tonight you know he doesn't play well then

03:36i guess they're gonna go with pickard uh in the next game uh but i don't think there's any question

04:12will start off a little slower and the totals will come down and then you're able to pounce and get

04:17some better numbers but there's going to be goals i mean this isn't going to be a 2-1 game tonight
