00:00Hello and welcome to UK Crime Court and Camera. In this compilation we are looking back at
00:16stories we've covered about disqualified drivers and drivers who were disqualified
00:20as part of their conviction. A man who hit police cars in a bid to escape after being caught
00:41driving while disqualified has been put behind bars. The Cardiff man was seen driving a van
00:46with clone plates on the M4 in February 2025. Police say he intentionally collided with
00:52caught cars and an unattended parked vehicle in his bid to evade getting nabbed. But, like
00:58all disqualified drivers we cover on UK Crime Court and Camera and believe us, they are
01:03Legion, the Bobbies soon got a man. He eventually pleaded guilty to aggravated vehicle taking,
01:10driving without insurance, driving well disqualified and property damage.
01:16He was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
01:26The person behind the wheel in this footage is a teenage disqualified driver who has two
01:31passengers aboard as he rampages across the tarmac of Nottinghamshire. He also rammed into
01:37two police cars but was finally brought to a halt when two police cars managed to box him
01:43in. He pled guilty to dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance,
01:51and was sentenced to nine months in prison, suspended for 18 months and banned from driving
01:57for 15 months. A judge also ordered him to complete a thinking skills programme in 20 rehabilitation
02:05days. He was also made subject of a three-month tagged curfew order.
02:10This man here scored a hat-trick of wrongdoing when he was stopped by good cops in February
02:242025. Not only was he going over 100mph past a cop car, he also had a knife on him and 130,000
02:31pounds worth of heroin. And as if that wasn't enough, he also lied to a police officer.
02:38He was, yeah. Any reason for your speed? I had my music on, I didn't know, and I thought,
02:47you know what? I'm going to... Yeah, what's your name, mate?
02:49Look at me. It's got the fingerprint. So, with your left index finger, put it on there for
03:03Yeah, put it on there for me. And your right index finger. You're a s***. Why bull s***?
03:13Oh, it's Candace. Come, stand up the minute, officer. You're disqualified.
03:16Yes, I am. I'm not going to lie. I've tried my best. You did? Well, just don't...
03:22I'm a s*** in jail for all that, so I've already been in prison once, man.
03:26Right, let's start this again. Drugs have been previously. Anything on you at the minute?
03:33Anything on your car? No, we're just saying your mate on 623 issues, drugs, that's okay.
03:37That's fine. First of all, you are telling me about details, okay?
03:40Um, saying you forgot some drug search on the vehicle, okay mate?
03:44And when the cops went poking around inside his motor car, they found an 8-inch kitchen knife
03:50and a bag of drugs.
03:57At a certain time, I've arrested on suspicion of possession of retention supply, alright?
04:00Also, drone whilst disqualified.
04:02Possession of a blade to guard for call.
04:05Alright, in regards to those offenses, you don't have to say anything,
04:07but it may help your defense if you don't mention it,
04:09it won't question to be trying in court,
04:10and if you do, you say it may be in evidence.
04:12You got anything else on you?
04:14No, I just, just...
04:15I just don't get anything else.
04:16I can't do it.
04:17I can't do it.
04:25What's in the bag mate?
04:27What's in them?
04:28What's in them?
04:29I'm trying to understand why I could do that.
04:32What's in the bag mate?
04:37He later pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs,
04:41driving while disqualified, possession of a knife and driving without insurance.
04:46He was later sentenced to a total of six years in prison.
04:49He was disqualified for a further five years from driving.
04:53Still to come on UK Crime caught on camera, a tiktok yob meets a copper.
05:00This footage shows a disqualified driver race at speeds of more than 90 miles per hour as he attempted to get away.
05:20At one point he began to slow with his hazards on before cutting across a pursuing police car.
05:27The driver eventually smashed into a set of traffic lights, leaving his smoking car behind as he ran.
05:32He was found in a nearby undergrowth where he was arrested by Cambridgeshire police officers.
05:38The driver failed a roadside alcohol breath test, returning a reading of more than double the limit.
05:45Police say he was taken to hospital as a precaution where he refused to supply a sample of blood for analysis.
05:51The driver admitted failing to stop after a road accident and failing to stop for police.
05:56He admitted dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and failing to provide a specimen for analysis and driving without insurance.
06:04He was jailed for 15 months in April 2025 at Cambridge Crown Court.
06:09PC Mark Draper said the driver's reckless behaviour could easily have resulted in someone being seriously injured or killed.
06:16The officer said he drove dangerously in a city centre with a complete disregard for the safety of others.
06:22I'm pleased he was apprehended before anyone was hurt and has now appeared in court.
06:2730-3.
06:28Crazy.
06:29Pretty much different.
06:30Fresh.
06:31Fresh.

06:34Mate, we're running.
06:49Police officer River Taser!
06:51Stay where you are!
06:53Come out now! Hands up! Come out now! Back to where I am!
07:17Next up we're in God Manchester where a driver is barreling down the wrong side of a dual carriageway.
07:22Now we're not sure what circumstances could have left him to this moment in life but police say it did involve drunk driving.
07:28That's right, he's more than twice the legal limit while driving the wrong way on a dual carriageway.
07:36And this lorry driver is trying to tell him just that by yelling and flashing his lights at him.
07:41Police say it was sheer luck that no one was injured or killed by the driver's actions and when they eventually tracked him down,
07:47he repeatedly denies that he was intoxicated while behind a wheel.
07:52It's fine, turn your engine off and then I'll be able to unlock the car.
08:02Good, now unlock your door.
08:07There we go. Good, turn your engine off for me.
08:09Is this your car?
08:18Huh?
08:19Is this your car?
08:20This is what?
08:21Is this your car?
08:22This is my car, yeah.
08:23This is your car, yeah?
08:24Yeah.
08:25You had any alcohol tonight?
08:26No, no, no.
08:27Alright, where are you driving to tonight?
08:28I'm going to my house.
08:30You're going to your house?
08:31Yeah.
08:32Alright, key's out.
08:33He's literally come this way.
08:35Yeah.
08:36Nearly crossing Central Red into Mir.
08:38Yeah.
08:39As I've spun around, he's literally come to the stop by himself.
08:42Cool.
08:43Right here in the middle of the road.
08:44Yeah.
08:45Alright mate, so I'm going to require you to provide me both a sample of breath for a roadside breath test and a sample of saliva for a roadside drug wipe.
08:54Okay.
08:55A warning you, if I need to provide either of those, we'll render you liable for arrest and go into custody.
09:01Alright?
09:02That's it.
09:03Like that.
09:04Keep going, keep going, keep going, keep going.
09:05Stop.
09:11Fail.
09:12Alright, so at the moment, mate, you're under arrest for drink driving, okay?
09:17I'm what?
09:18For drink driving.
09:19You're under arrest for it.
09:20I'm not drinking driving.
09:21You are, because that's what's shown up.
09:23Is that what he says?
09:25Yeah.
09:26Jesus.
09:27He was sentenced to 8 months in prison, suspended for 12 months after pleading guilty to dangerous driving at Huntington Crown Court in July 2024.
09:37He also pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving otherwise in accordance with a license.
09:42He was also ordered to carry out 200 hours unpaid work.
09:46And he was given a 2 month curfew and was to be electronically monitored, meaning he had to stay at home between 7pm and 5am.
09:53His driver was also disqualified from driving for 4 years and must take an extended retest.
10:23He went into a set of traffic lights, leaving his smoking car behind as he ran.
10:39He was found in a nearby undergrowth where he was arrested by Cambridgeshire police officers.
10:45The driver failed a roadside alcohol breath test, returning a reading of more than double the limit.
10:51Police say he was taken to hospital as a precaution where he refused to supply a sample of blood for analysis.
10:58The driver admitted failing to stop after a road accident and failing to stop for police.
11:03He admitted dangerous driving, driving whilst disqualified and failing to provide a specimen for analysis and driving without insurance.
11:10He was jailed for 15 months in April 2025 at Cambridge Crown Court.
11:16PC Mark Draper said the driver's reckless behaviour could easily have resulted in someone being seriously injured or killed.
11:22The officer said he drove dangerously.
