South Korea has halted its controversial loudspeaker broadcasts along the border with North Korea. The broadcasts, a mix of anti-Pyongyang messages and K-Pop music, were shut off in a surprise move aimed at easing tensions with the North. Shortly after, North Korea also turned off its own border broadcasts.
