00:00Thank you. Since we're running out of time in the room, I want to start taking some questions if people have it.
00:05And then some of the members who haven't spoke will be able to jump in and answer some of those questions.
00:11A recent CBS YouGov poll found that 54% of Americans support the administration's deportation of illegal immigrants in the United States.
00:23Is the Democratic Party in any way out of touch with voters on this issue?
00:30If you really start digging into the polling, it shows that it's when you start pointing out who it is, right, that if it's a mom that's been here that's sought asylum, that's gone through the process, that it's children, then all of a sudden they don't support the deportation of those individuals.
00:48Donald Trump sold it as going after criminals, but they're going to Home Depots and car washes and restaurants.
00:58I don't know how many MS-13 members are working at car washes, Home Depots and restaurants.
01:03And that's why you see the backlash of the individual who was detained that was a restaurant worker in a red state, in a red city, and then all of a sudden her community came forward to help advocate for her.
01:18So I think that the Democrats understand that it's not about all immigrants.
01:25It's how Donald Trump's trying to portray immigrants.
