00:00Policemen in Edo State of Nigeria have arrested seven persons suspected to be members of a secret cult group while the suspects were in the act trying to kill a commercial motorcycle driver also known as Okada Rider at Sapole Road Axis in Benin City.
00:15According to the Edo State Police Command spokesperson, Moses Yamu, policemen at the Love World Police Division quickly went after the suspected killers while they were dehumanizing the Okada Rider.
00:27In a statement issued on Tuesday, the police command said that, on 8 June 2025, acting on a distress call that some suspected cultists were cited dehumanizing an Okada Rider at Peanut Junction along Sapole Road.
00:42Operatives of the Love World Division immediately responded and arrested seven suspects namely, Eric Charles, 25 years, Gif Neres, 24 years, Odeon Asaro, 19 years, Festus Ossai, 26 years, Oazigodoro, 19 years, Samuel Sabi, 22 years, Destiny Bernard, 20 years while two yet to be identified escaped.
