00:00This morning, we heard that because of his terrible Che Goss deal, Mauritius is scrapping income tax.

00:06Why on earth should the British taxpayer pay for £30 billion for tax cuts in Mauritius?

00:15Mr Speaker, Diego Garcia is a vital intelligence and strategic capability.

00:21And it's absolutely clear that legal uncertainty would compromise it in very short order.

00:27That is why they started the negotiations in relationship.

00:31And no responsible Prime Minister would let that happen.

00:37That has been welcomed by our allies, by the US, by NATO, by Australia, New Zealand, India.

00:44It's been opposed by our adversaries, Russia, China and Iran.
