00:00No, esse vídeo não mostra a NATO strike no Moscou.
00:07Esse vídeo está circulando em social e é sendo descrito de errado como a NATO
00:14strike no Moscou à noite.
00:17Os cairos dizem que a strike no capital na capital de russa aconteceu earlier this month
00:20na noite de peace talks entre a Ucrânia e a Rússia em Istembol.
00:25They accused the NATO alliance of trying to start a nuclear war with Russia.
00:30The far-right American radio host and known conspiracy theorist Alex Jones
00:35shared the unfounded claim in a post that has been seen more than 2 million times on X.
00:42But the claim is false.
00:44We used a reverse image search to identify the origin of this video
00:48and found it in fact was taken in December 2023.
00:52It shows Ukraine's air force striking a Russian warship in Crimea
00:58using an air-launched cruise missile.
01:01That strike damaged a large landing ship which Russia was using
01:04to transport tanks and land troops ashore.
01:08It happened in the port of Feodosia in Crimea
01:11which Russia annexed from Ukraine in 2014.
01:15Some users have also linked this video with a so-called Operation Spiderweb
01:19in which Ukraine says it destroyed as many as 40 Russian military airplanes using drones.
01:26But the video is completely unrelated to that operation and does not show a drone strike.
01:32NATO forces have not directly engaged in any military activity as part of Russia's war in Ukraine
01:38but do supply Ukrainian armed forces with military equipment and arms including long-range missiles.
