00:00CBD is number two, accounting for 12.9% of all deaths.
00:06However, in 2015, it went down to third.
00:11It went down to third, not because the numbers decreased.
00:15In fact, the numbers increased, and it's because of the rise of cancer in our country.
00:21So number one is systemic heart disease, number two is cancer.
00:24Third now is CBD or cerebrovascular disease.
00:28It's from 2015 up to 2023.
00:34And if you look at the data, medically attended,
00:38only about 50 to 60% of all stroke cases died with medical attendance,
00:45and about 28 to 36% died without medical attendance,
00:50especially in geographically isolated areas.
00:54Or those poor people with no means of, or financial means to go to the hospital.
01:02If I populated the deaths from stroke in several regions,
01:07and the top region includes Bicol.
01:10So there's 82 deaths per 100,000 population,
01:16and it has likely decreased to 78 in 2021.
01:20Next, we have Ilocos and Davao.
01:22Both have 18 deaths per 100,000 population.
01:27And if you look at Ilocos, there's even a rise in death in 2020.
01:3182 deaths per 100,000 population.
01:34While in Davao, it has gone down to 77.
01:38Only Ilocos, at this time, has the highest death from stroke.
01:45This is because of the food baby back then.
01:49So now, I'll discuss the PNA one-stroke database.
01:55This is only a two-year data, but we have completed the three data,
02:01and it will be published soon.
02:02So we gathered 6,481 cases from 11 institutions.
02:10So these are the institutions.
02:13These are the accredited neurology training institutions, 11 in one.
02:17So the mean age is January 58.
02:22We have some missing data.
02:24So mostly 56% among males and 44% among females,
02:29but there's a small percentage trans female and trans male.
02:35So first event is 85%.
02:37Recurrence is 10%, mostly from uncontrolled hypertension
02:41and those with AF without any medications.
02:44So as you can see, 33% are ICH,
02:50while skin mixed stroke is only 56%.
02:59Got you.
