Drugs, arms smuggler nabbed in Punjab’s Amritsar after brief cross firing

AMRITSAR (PUNJAB), June 10, 2025 (ANI):  Punjab Police conducted an encounter operation in Amritsar, leading to the arrest of a notorious drugs and arms smuggler. The accused is allegedly a history-sheeter who opened fire on the Punjab Police; in retaliatory firing, he was injured and later hospitalised.
