00:00Okay, so I'm Police Sergeant Tom Otley from the Neighbourhood Policing Team that covers West Devon.

00:05We're here today introducing the Public Spaces Protection Orders for Tavistock and Oakhampton Towns.

00:12This is a new bit of legislation that we've brought in in conjunction with West Devon Borough Council

00:17following about two years' worth of consultation with the public and with our councillors

00:22that will give police and council officials extra powers in terms of dealing with alcohol

00:29related antisocial behaviour and the power to disperse individuals acting in an antisocial way across both towns.
