00:00I hope you heard the interview with our last guest, press photographer Nick Stern,

00:05who was shot by a plastic bullet after covering these protests.

00:09What's your reaction to what he had to say?

00:13Well, first of all, thanks so much for having me on.

00:16My reaction is always terrible when press get caught in the middle of riots,

00:23like what's going on right now in Los Angeles.

00:26But what I can tell you is that President Trump and the Trump administration won a huge mandate in this last election,

00:35which brought him back to office precisely because the American people want they want our borders to be closed.

00:43They want illegal aliens to be deported out of the country, especially criminal aliens, which has been the focus until now.

00:50We want law and order restored.

00:53And I think the Trump administration learned the lessons of the BLM, Black Lives Matter, riots of 2020.

01:03In that case, we did not see back in 2020, we did not see the president call in the National Guard or threaten to bring in the U.S. Marines.

01:13And today we are seeing a different course, which is the president has called in the National Guard.

01:19They are threatening to bring in the Marines if necessary.

01:22And so I think the lessons learned was that to allow this anarchy lawlessness does not do service to the country.

01:32And also there's a belief that a lot of these are leftist elements,

01:35that these riots have a political element that are meant to undermine the Trump administration.

01:43And so I think the administration is just not going to have it.

01:45They're not going to allow this to take place again.
