Chinese and American officials have entered day two of trade talks in London. U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday that he was getting good reports but that it is too soon to know the outcome.

00:00U.S. President Donald Trump has sounded a positive note about trade talks with China, currently underway in London.
00:07I think we're doing very well. They're over there now. I'm only getting good reports. It's a little early, but they'll be calling in soon.
00:12In fact, probably when I get back, I'll have my first call from them. We want to open up China.
00:19Trump administration officials met with their Chinese counterparts for several hours on Monday.
00:24They reportedly discussed issues including U.S. chip export restrictions and China's curbs on rare earth minerals.
00:32The talks are aimed at reducing trade tensions between the two countries
00:35and come after Trump's first phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping since starting his second term in January.
