Prosecutors have indicted four former staffers of the ruling Democratic Progressive Party for leaking classified national security information to China. They are seeking sentences of between five and more than 18 years for the defendants.

00:13and a former aide to National Security Council head Joseph Wu during his time as Foreign Minister.
00:19They were allegedly approached by the other two defendants,
00:22who were recruited by China in 2017 and received more than US$280,000.
00:28Prosecutors are asking for sentences of between five and more than 18 years for the four defendants.
