03:33We used climate control, played music via Bluetooth, took calls, and even used navigation.

03:54It was a mild 68 degrees Fahrenheit, 20 degrees Celsius throughout the day.

04:09Some mild hills, just like you'd encounter on a suburban route.

04:16We didn't crawl or race.

04:20All these variables have a huge effect on EV range.

04:24And they're often ignored in manufacturer stats.

04:27But here, we want you to see the truth.

04:29The Model Q in action, under the same conditions you'd face tomorrow morning on your way to work.

04:37With our full battery charged to 100%, we set out on our mixed condition test route.

04:42By the end of the loop, which combined city traffic, freeway stretches, and some elevation changes, the Model Q covered 289 miles before hitting 5% battery.

04:54That's just 21 miles shy of the EPA-rated 310-mile range.

04:58And here's the thing.

05:00We didn't drive it gently.

05:01AC was on.

05:02Music was playing.

05:04We kept up with traffic.

05:05So for real-world conditions?

05:07That's impressive.

05:09The efficiency averaged around 3.9 miles per kilowatt hour, which puts it ahead of several competitors in its class.

05:17We strategically planned three charging scenarios to reflect what most EV owners will encounter.

05:31Highway Super Fast Station, Electrify America.

05:37Level 2 Home Charger.

05:39For overnight recharging at a standard residential outlet.

05:43At the first fast charger, we arrived with 12% battery.

05:46Within 26 minutes, we hit 80%.

05:50That's almost exactly what the manufacturer claims.

05:53Quick, efficient, and stress-free.

05:55On the highway stop, we tested another fast charger with a lower 150 kilowatts peak.

06:01This time, a 20% to 80% jump took about 36 minutes.

06:06Not ideal, but still manageable for road trips.

06:10Especially with access to food and restrooms nearby.

06:13And at home, we plugged into a Level 2 Charger overnight.

06:17The car regained about 28 miles of range per hour.

06:21Topping up from 15% to 100% in just under 9 hours.

08:19And with support for up to 250 kW, you're looking at 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes, depending on the charger's output and network load.
