“Going to take decision…” G Parameshwara on Centre hands over probe into Suhas Shetty murder to NIA

Bengaluru, June 09, 2025 (ANI): Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on June 09 informed that Central Home Ministry wrote a letter to Karnataka government to hand over case of murder of Suhas Shetty to NIA. He also said that they are going to take a decision regarding it. “Central Home Ministry has written a letter to state government to hand over the case of murder of Suhas Shetty to NIA. Today, we are going to take a decision regarding it...,” said G Parameshwara.

00:13I believe yesterday the letter has come. I learned from our Director General of Police and today we are going to take a decision regarding that.

00:23Sir, you met the Central Home, Somanna? No, Somanna. I met Somanna, V Somanna, our Central Minister representing Tumkur district.

00:38I had some work related to National Highway. We are proposing to build an arch on the National Highway

00:52to request Somanna to get a permission from National Highway Authority. I have given a representation to Gadkariji.

01:07And yes, Somanna has assured me that he will talk to Gadkariji and get the permission, number one.

01:14So, there are a couple of drinking water projects, proposals have gone to Central Government.

01:21And Somanna being the Jala Shetty, Minister for Jala Shetty, I have requested him to get this approved.

01:29So, these two major things I just wanted to meet him and request him this morning.
