00:00they first took off his clothes then they took long leather thongs with steel pellets or lead

00:22pellets on the end and beat him across the back until he could hardly stand up

00:27then they put a crown of thorns on his brow and his face was bleeding

00:33and they laughed at him and they spit on him and they mocked him and with one snap of his finger

01:18turn the other cheek he never said what to do after that

01:22but he did say forgive 70 times seven count that out

01:29jesus taught that we're to forgive he taught a revolution in the way we're to live

01:35he taught us that it wasn't just our outward actions that god judges but it's the inward thoughts and

01:41and he dragged and lifted and hauled that cross

01:47he didn't squirm he didn't yell he didn't scream

01:52he just took it and said lord forgive them

01:56they don't know what they're doing

01:58when he died on that cross

02:01they nailed him they put the nails in his hands

02:05and you know what he said forgive them they know not what they do

02:10forgive them could you forgive somebody that's putting nails in your hands and you know you didn't deserve

02:16then look at the death he died

02:22did ever a man die like jesus

02:25the lightning flashed and the thunder roared and the earth began to shake

02:29and even the soldiers confessed that this must be the son of god

02:34any one that can see jesus on that cross and not be touched has a heart of stone

03:00he said my god why hast thou forsaken me

03:05and then he dropped his head

03:06and said it's finished

03:09what did he mean

03:10he meant your plan of salvation was finished

03:17god can now forgive you of all your sins

03:21because jesus had finished god's plan for your salvation

03:26because you see god knows every one of you by name

03:29he has the hands of your head numbered
